In My Head is their best.
Yeah incredibly underrated. I find it a shame that only Damaged and My Ware are the only records that get any real attention. There's so much black flag people are missing out on.
Pre-Damaged is the best. Black Flag started to suck once they started to take themselves too seriously.
>Family Man
oof forget that existed until now, such a piece of crap
Everything after My War is worse than the early Rollins solo/Rollins Band albums. You know I'm right.
Pleb opinion. I doubt you've even listened to those albums
The contrary in my opinion.
Side B is great
If you haven't listened to this version of My War you are a Black Flag pleb and should leave this thread.

Got my war on vinyl yesterday :)
Family Man is my favourite
Based and redpilled. Super underrated for a board that circle jerks over contrived experimental music they do seem to love to hate on Family Man.
I have, they have shitty eighties production.

How does this have shitty production?
How the fuck isn't Family Man experimental you contrarian faggot. At least in terms of 80's hardcore it's highly experimental. Something doesn't have to be overly complex in order to be experimental.
It's a genuinely based album

Eighties.

I enjoyed family man. Even the spoken word part. It still remains one of the most memorable moments in the Black Flag discog for me.
I definitely prefer the pre-Rollins stuff. That's not contrarian, I don't like his other music much either. He is a funny guy though.
Half of the Rollins era is incredibly underrated.
