damn this is beautiful. dream pop/shoegaze are actually the genres i probably listen to the most and this hits a similar kinda spot that a lot of my favs do. "Pub Crawls" is especially great. huge rec on this.

such a nice tune. instrumentation is perfect, vocal performance is also great. the only critique i can find is that maybe the vocals could be mixed in a bit cleaner. still a very beautiful and emotional track. big rec here too.

thanks for listening to my ep on another thread, ur ep is pretty damn tight! perfect scene is a great indie rock track, love it. the electronics you laced into the other tracks is actually pretty tasteful and adds a lot to them as well. in conclusion im excited for more, hell yeah
theres something here for sure, ambient guitars in the background remind me of broken social scene and and groove reminds me of something off the terraria soundtrack. also that breakaway into the second drum loop with the other instrumentation is actually pretty cool, would have loved to hear more of that. finally that snare or hi-hat or whatever is playing in the background kinda hurts my ears sometimes but a part from that, its good!
what kind of mental gymnastics do u have to do compile all these sounds and textures into a groove and format like this... its sick, super cool progression.
beautiful song, rest in peace mimi. i think ur mix is good already if ur working with limited resources, i guess if anything a personal preference of mine when it comes to acoustic ballads is a lo-fi sound and youve already got that here so. but yeah, everything blends together pretty nicely

Just finished a new tyune with my friend.
The subject relates to the homeless and drug epidemic.

Author's note: In my town when the homeless crisis really hit hard several years back, most of the vagrants lived down at the river that flows through town. We started calling them "River People," but found that term was too endearing. We renamed them "Mud People." This song is basically about a lad being summoned to the Mud World with the enticing glow of drugs and substance indulgence. As the song progresses he finds himself from good, to shit show. Finally ending up in a tent on the river. The song drastically changes at the end, and our subject finds himself getting out and getting his shit together before he makes his "full transformation" to a Mud Man. So there is a theme of redemption, which in reality is powerful rare concerning this theme.
