I'm convinced that these threads are giant meta-jokes about the definitions and perceptions of dadrock and people who's tastes in music and sense of humor are unsophisticated and outmoded.
In that way, They're pretty funny.
I don't see how they get much satisfaction, though, since the people that are getting pissed off are not the people they're making fun of. Maybe trolling truly has evolved where everyone tries to be as retarded as possible and take the opposite viewpoint from their own. Even when the set up is complicated and labor intensive and the consequences of your musical taste don't even matter.
Maybe it's just about that dude from AoL who's a giant because Yea Forums is obsessed with the value of aesthetic perfection and the superiority of the genetics of brutality.
Maybe I'm insane and it's just innocent memeing from people who love this type of music.
