Anyone here going/gone to see this living legend in concert? Should I jut go alone if no one is interested in going with me? Or will all the boomers point and laugh at me?

just go
have one twice, once in 2015 and again about a week ago
great show both times, audience is good and setlist is a good mix of his solo stuff, wings, and beatles
Beatles' "Aryan" music removed any trace of black music from rock and roll. It replaced syncopated African rhythm with linear Western melody, and lusty negro attitudes with cute white-kid smiles.
Saw him last week in Raleigh. You need to go. It doesn't matter if you're alone. You need to see the man perform live
His shows have a strict no singles policy so I'm afraid you're out of luck
Saw him at ACL last year, it was fantastic. He plays all the songs you'd want/expect him to. It was my first time seeing him too (probably last considering his age and I doubt he'll be coming to Texas anytime soon).
Bump
Saw him in 2016 and it was a great show. Considering his age it’s pretty wild how much energy and charisma he still has as a performer. Plus his setlists have a great mix of his hits and more obscure stuff, Beatles and solo. He’s worth seeing whether you’re alone or not, do it.
Saw him in 2013 at a festival. I wasn't even a huge Beatles fan but his show blew me away. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been if I was a huge Beatles fan. Go user before he stops touring/dies
Don't see McCartney, he can't sing anymore and needs to retire.
I’ll go with you OP. Bring your mom where I can finger blast her during the show.
Saw Paul in 2011. You can be a Beatles fan and know everything there is to know about each member, know all the words to every song on every album, but nothing prepares you for when he walks out on stage and you see the man who created all of that music you love, in the flesh, right there. It’s a surreal experience
>you can "replace" a rhythm with a melody
Scaruffi's such a dumbass. The Beatles were heavily influenced by black R&B and Girl Groups. They just weren't as into the straight blues stuff that other rock musicians of the time took a lot from, and probably for good reason. It's why they knew how to write a good ass melody and didn't sound like a bunch of pasty losers imitating old black men from the delta.
Did he do Helter skelter?
I saw him in '02, '14, and twice in '17. Still a spectacle and still worth seeing.
He did in '14. He's been doing Temporary Secretary on the last couple tours.
not the real one

I just wanna
It's called a riff, zoomer-chan
Not my thing at all, but I'd see him play anyway - I hear he puts on a great show, and how many more chances will you get to see someone that legendary? Also boomers won't laugh at you at all. They'll be comforted there's still younger people who have similar taste to them while simultaneously feeling cooler themselves.
