Go listen to Radiohead then

I like post-punk, dream pop, and goth, but I've never understood what people see in it

Pornography >>>> Disintegration

No

That's because you have shit taste

I've heard that said so many times by self-righteous people, and I always find it pretty funny because it's literally the opposite of the truth. High IQ people are prone to risk-seeking and self-destructive behavior because they often feel bored, and need have a higher need for mental stimulation.

Make an appointment with an audiologist

i'm sick of them
i also love all those genres but it just sounds all the same, close to me and boys don't cry are bangers tho.
not wrong

bits of it are boring, bits of it are fantastic

The Cure's Goth era shits on their dream pop era. Seventeen Seconds and Faith are amazing as well. Still, Disintegration is their magnum opus, combining their goth and poppy records.

Don't get the hype for Seventeen Seconds either
Faith seems like such a clearly superior record to Seventeen Seconds

Killing Joke - Brighter Than a Thousand Suns

Now get the fuck out

It is, but Seventeen Seconds has A Forest, hence the hype. It's fairly more inconsistent than Faith, and I think the latter is the artistic peak of that bleak, grey sounding post-punk.

I agree
