I actually found it mostly boring to listen to songs I already knew inside and out when I was on acid. I had the best time listening to new artists and material, or artists that I had discovered on previous trips.

Trust me on the tangerine dream with LSD. Its like a spell for an amazing time. hard to describe but if you listen to it you'll know. Another good one is Rubycon. Extremely surreal. Dont listen to it before your trip. save it for the come down while going on a walk or hanging out in your yard.

This is all true, no denying that. But still, in my experience I've found the more trippier the music sounds (in terms of both production and/or compositional style), the more amazing your trip is going to be.

But still, YMMV, so to each his own I guess.

Am I the only one who can't smoke weed while tripping? I used to think it was Acid that made me anxious but really it's just fucking weed. It's a guaranteed bad trip for me.

weed mellows out pretty much every other drug for me. this sounds pretentious as fuck but it's like having a home to go back to in between some crazy journeys

I can smoke weed by itself, I particularly like smoking when I've had a few drinks. But on Acid it really fucks me up. I had a really bad trip on Mushrooms a few years back and I wonder if it was the weed that did it to me, and every bad trip I've ever had I remember smoking weed heavily.
I just need to experiment I guess. I've done MDMA a bunch of times and I never smoke weed on it until I've pretty much come all the way down, so I can't say how weed has affected me while on that drug, but I have a suspicion that it might have a similar effect.

weed always drastically intensified the trip for me. And if I was t+12 hours, usually I'd be pretty tapered off and "Sober" but if I smoked at all, it would bring the trip back/extend it.

Weed during the peak can be terrible for certain people. It caused my friend to thought loop, have a panic attack, and what I could best describe as just being possessed by some inter-dimensional entity. Freaked me the fuck out even. One of the reasons I stopped tripping was because from then on, when he was around me and I was tripping.. even if he was sober.. it would cause him to start to panic a little. Or if he was tripping and I was around and even sober.. he would start to panic a lot. Best not to dwell on these things.

It just gives me racing thoughts and I start to think of all these awful scenarios like imagining my friends being out to get me, or poisoning me, or imagining that the water I'm drinking is just more acid and I'll go down an even deeper rabbit hole and that is very scary.

Just the other day I took LSD and everything was going great until I smoked weed. I started imagining that I wasn't really where as I was at and everything around me was a big hallucination and I'm out somewhere being taken advantage of in some unspeakable way, and it was going to kill me at any moment.

Thats the plan from here onward, because really what ended up happening was I had a massive breakthrough and it really helped me conquer the anxiety I had. I don't even really know what I did honestly.
Also what the fuck is up with the electrical feeling on acid? That shit really weirds me out.

Weed is hit or miss with psych, every time I smoke it makes me feel warm and comfy and its one of the best feelings

LSD completely changed my perspective on life. It made me think that our thoughts don't originate in our head but our brains more or less work as some kind of receiver. This was not a thought I had while tripping, but something that my mind had to rationalize after the fact to explain what I and some friends had witnessed.

I still to this day (havent tripped in 6 years) think this reality isn't exactly where we reside/originate. Its hard to describe.

Some of the more pleasant things I experienced were shared hallucinations with a friend (these fucking rabbits, man) and this odd sense of mind reading/thought projection/sharing. Even after we stopped doing it, the weird connected state of non-verbal communication remained for quite some time. Theres still a faint hint of it now, but its severely lessened, almost gone entirely.

I don't think LSD exactly gives you the "truth" or some huge insight by itself, but the way it makes you escape your normal perspective is enlightening and life-changing in its own way. Sometimes for the worse.

Most perspectives on LSD are hard to describe because we needed LSD to show us that perspective. That doesn't invalidate the thought or make it less helpful to our own perspective, but it definitely makes them hard to have people relate to, or understand without using the drug.

This may be cliche but I listen to this whole song by myself while tripping and it was pretty enjoyable and made me laugh pretty hard honestly
