Any Jazz similar to Ryo Fukui's Scenery Album?

This really helped me study and I was wondering if there's anything out there similar to it. I like Jazz a lot but I've never really explored it too much.

Kenny G

Also, any good jazz songs with a good drum solo are welcome too.

Okay okay, this is good, but not really what I'm in the mood for. It's a little too slow, I'm looking for something more exciting.

just follow the youtube algorithm you sloppy little piggy stop trying to pretend you're into good music and don't just lap up whatever google's algorithms tell you to

is it always just newfags or is it a dedicated shitposter constantly posting this album?

It's a google bot.

i dont think so, i literally suggested this to Yea Forums when i was a newfag and didnt know any albums

It's youtube algorithm core

Le red album youtube recc man xD

I tried to buy a copy and couldn't I don't think it's on Spotify so I've not heard it.

>it's popular so it's bad

I honestly can't tell if this is a shitpost

>A mostly average trio release, demonstrating competency, but little creativity or nuance

it's not popular though

>hahaha you're just a YouTube rec drone, like all the other faceless masses
>hahaha it's not popular, nobody listens to it, it's not like I just said that it's popular on the YouTube algorithm with over 8 million views

Based schizo

People dislike Kind of Blue because it's popular but Scenery isn't popular in the grand scheme of things. People on YouTube go crazy about it because they think it's obscure.

>it isn't popular
>but it also isn't obscure
your argument is lost on me, sorry

Like i said it's relatively obscure

>it can’t be bad if is popular

so shouldn't the wording be
>People on YouTube go crazy about it because it's obscure.
misrepresenting my argument. I don't automatically assign value to something because it's popular or obscure. if someone said that Scenery must be good because it's popular, I would disagree, just as I have for the people who said it must be bad for being popular

I meant it's less obscure than they think. They're patting themselves on the back as though they found a hidden masterpiece, but it's a very well known album among the niche group of people who get recommended that type of music by YouTube.

>it must be bad for being popular
Literally nobody has said that though so you’re misrepresenting their argument as well

if any of them really think that, then my opinion of humanity's collective intelligence is too high, since everyone should clearly see that millions of people have seen the video
every single one of the people I initially bumped implied that exact argument

For studying I like:

>his new album from last year
>take five by dave brubeck
>almost any miles davis
>almost any coltrane (but not suitable for studying)
>million living will never die by tortoise
>almost anythign by toe
>tnt by tortoise
>quartets/quintents with coltrane and miles davis

Last year had my worst semester and was studying everyday 8-12 h. I mostly listened to math rock and jazz. If you want studying jazz then look your favourite artist in a band.

For example most coltrane albums are too fast for study time (giant steps, favorite things) but you like coltrane then check his quartet albums.

Yes a lot of them are no doubt proud that they listen YouTube-algorithm-core that nobody outside of that audience has heard of. Especially if it's Japanese and has a cool album cover.
