Jahseh was essentially a clout martyr.
Everyone is claiming this was a random robbery, but it's clear what was actually happening: his killers were driven to take his life solely for the sake of clout. They wanted infamy of their own and found it in gunning down a 20-year old.
As Jah was taking his final breath, he was surrounded by kids taking video and pictures of him. Why? For clout. No one was taking his pulse, no one was calling 911, everyone was standing around with their phones out as his body was clinging to life.
The moral lesson of Jahseh's life story should be a cautionary tale of the horrors of social media and how it's fucked our society beyond belief.

He claimed he sold his soul to the devil while in prison in 2016 just before making it big, claimed he had "demonic energy" on Instagram, and frequently referenced demons in music and in interviews. Here are the signs of demonic possession according to the Bible (Mark chapter 5):
1. Being awake day and night
X stated in interviews (in particular his discussion with DJ Akademiks) he didn't sleep much, he was constantly awake for most of the night and didn't feel anything.
2. Running from or wanting to do away with those who care most
X cut many of his old friends (Ski Mask, Denzel Curry, Trippie Redd) as well as close family members (his sister) out of his life. He threatened to sacrifice Ski Mask, which is why the two stopped being friends, despite having been air tight before. He also kicked girlfriends and one-night-stands out of his life on the basis that the "demons around him would get them".

3. Living in the past or being comfortable around dead things
X had a strange but not too surprising fascination with death. His music demonstrates this quite efficiently. He also "lived in the past" in the sense that he held grudges against people.
4. Being violent or dangerous
Goes without saying. Just look at the charges made by his ex-gf, or the incidents of him stabbing and beating up people at random. He also had little to no remorse for anything he did.
5. Self-mutilation
X engaged in plenty of self-harm, made threats of suicide, etc. His ex-gf's charges recall incidents where he would hang himself over the balcony of their high-rise apartment without fear.
