My mother is a classically trained pianist, so she introduced me to plenty of classical composers, as well as to early 1900s popular brazilian music (she played a lot of choro). As a really young kid I would hang around her music school all the time and it definitely affected the way I experience and value music.

My dad has never introduced me to any musician though.
