I like both equally. Hagar is unquestionably the better singer, Dave was the bigger personality. Outside of that, I think the music made with both is fucking great on both sides for different reasons. I love an inspiring heartfelt song like Dreams as much as I love a sleazy badass song like Ain't Talking Bout Love.

To me the soul of VH is EVH's guitar, which has amazing moments with both Dave and Sammy. And like I said, Sammy is technically a far better singer so he gets that point. Dave gets a point for being more charismatic, to me the playing field is equal.
