I used to listen to Vladivostok all the time. That game had some great House/Dance music.

I was introduced to Celtic Frost.
The best video game I've ever played.

That's where I heard Art Blakey's "Moanin" for the first time, which is like a legendary standard

>2008 was 20 years ago

damn...

started getting a feel for jazz in fallout 3, but JNR was what did it for me.

Damn fine station

best soundtrack in the series

Unarguably the most compelling game, truly a masterpiece.

>kid
>gta 4

Wrong, Vice City have the best soundtrack

IV is terrible and only babbys who had it as their first GTA think it's good.

IV is a great game that pushing drama in videogames at the highest level. It's a fuckin monumental game and the only complaints come from babyboomers who thinks the game isn't fun enough

>pushing drama in videogames at the highest level
This has to be a joke.

lol remember when pic related was the most famous picture in the world?

It is an old game my dude

effay

I found so many great artists from GTAV it's unreal. I probably wont even buy GTAVI, but I will definitely check out the radio station for new artists. Rockstar has the best taste in music of any entertainment company.

Not really, never really played 4 that much. Always more of 3 and vice city kind of guy, especially when it came to the radio. Fever 1.05 and Rise FM introduced me to alot of good shit though.

john coltrane isnt good jazz?

Shit showed me the Stooges. I can never thank it enough for that.

No

IV was a visionary game. All of the modern sandbox of today were influenced by IV. Now this game aged really bad, but you need to see it in the context.

if you want to time travel back to 2008/late 2000s just play gta iv

It hasn't aged though the ragdog's still astounding

Jesus fucking Christ I am too old for this website. How do I get permabanned?

le based contrarian who only listens to obscure norwegian jazz fusion made by a mongolian immigrant

alright man. im pretty new at jazz. can you tell me some jazz artists i should listen to?

GTA IV was ruined by the stupid friendship system to be honest. I really fucking hated having to deal with that shit.

charles mingus, miles davis

no i mean good ones, those are one gta which arent good

If you really want to look into jazz check out Eric Dolphy, Charles Mingus, Bill Evans, Canonball Adderly, Chick Corea...you could also just check out the jazz sharethreads in the archives and peruse. Or go to spotify/google/pandora and set up a jazz station and just listen. You'll find subgenres in jazz you like more than others. For me it's bebop or hardbop usually.
