Only 1 good song jfl.
This is actually amazing! thank you man
I like Fire on High
Bruh i was lisyening to mah favrit band elo and heard this song twilight. Befrore i realized it it was 4 in the am.
I ONLY MEANT TO STAY A WHILE
Probably the worst take I’ve ever seen on this board
Because Jeff Lynne is a genius.
I thought I told you to shut up, bitch.
I'm listening to this for the first time. It's pretty good, yo. And Daft Punk are obvious fans/ have taken influence(and samples) from them. :D
Tightrope is next level shit.
I’d probably tongue Jeff Lynne’s asshole after a fish n chips binge on the off chance i’d lap up a fraction of a speck of his brilliance
STANDIN IN THE RAIN
Hell yeah, awesome song.

Was going to post this
>RIDE THE RANGE ALL THE DAY
>TILL THE FIRST FADING LIGHT
>BE WITH MY WESTERN GIRL
>ROUND THE FIRE OH SO BRIGHT
yea man, alone in the universe is so good too
they have like 4 10's too lmao
a new world record, out of the blue, face the music, and eldorado are all amazing albums that could fit right in with the beatles discography.
Best song is telephone line
I love this. Is the original opening pitched up slightly, or is that just for the YouTube copyright police?
You gotta include Time in with their best albums.
Pretty cool piece of anime history with the birth of Gainax.
>that a cappella
fucking kino
It's beautiful, dude.
Embarrassing
Even as heralded as they are, ELO is criminally underrated.
ELO fucking rules, almost all of their discography is super solid. if you aren't aware there is more early stuff that ELO came from, jeff lynne has a band Idle Race which was very eclectic and fun, and was with roy wood in The Move. Roy Wood is also super good, his solo albums are great and all the stuff from Wizzard too if you can find it. they also were in some other earlier bands but i haven't looked into them
I can vouch for "The Move." Very solid stuff.
Did you really just leave out Time, their magnum opus?
The Concerto is so good.
better than queen. Worse than every contemporary out there
hey i know that song i heard it from that movie
Lmao no it isn't, fucking garbage Boomer music. They had like 1 or 2 popular songs and that was it. Worse than any other group of their time.
> MR JEW, YOU DID IT RIGTH
>BUT SOON COMES KRISTALLNACHT
How did they get away with this
what a hollow opinion, sad.
let me think
hmmmmmmm
wrong
How is that a "hollow opinion"? If ELO was "so great" then why couldn't they compete? Compare any ELO song to anything modern and you will realize what I mean. Fucking will Smith raps are better lmao
Why are reviews for these guys so blah. I love this band. Same thing with Jackson Browne. Jacksons first four albums are solid gold.
Wow that's an incredibly gay opinion. You must be a gay man. A gay man who shit's his pants. Shitty man gay man.
Wow I thought Yea Forums was too pretentious for ELO
Out of the Blue is a top-tier pop album desu
Project harder
based
This
You are either the same gay man or a different one. Have fun shitting your pants you shitty gay man!
SLOOOOW DOWN
SWEET TALKIN WOMAN
My dad had this record and I've just heard it too many times. The entire genre of dad rock was so over played in my lifetime I guess I can see how a young kid or a weird foreigner would find it interesting but Im over it completely.
THE CITY STREETS ARE EMPTY NOW
(THE LIGHTS DON'T SHINE NO MOOOOOORE)
>Tripfag with a garbage opinion
Nothing to see here folks...
Jeff is the God of catchy choruses
this. Good to see ELO getting much deserved love.
Pictures of Jeff Lynne without sunglasses make me uncomfortable
He's really done a good job committing to the exact same look for almost 50 years.
I've had "All Over The World" playing on repeat in my head ever since I heard it in the supermarket a few days ago. Terrific song.

>HELLO
>HOW AAAAAAAAAAREEEEEEE YOU?
I am old enough to remember watching these guys on the TV in the 70's.
When I was twelve years old I read "The Omen" - at this time "Confusion" was being played on the radio. Each time I hear this song, I always think of that book.

Its their best
