It's a 6/10. Although admittedly it's been a few year since a I listened to it.

Listen again

she lick lick lick my lollipop

I prefer his more patrician album

First 3 tracks, Dr Carter, and Shoot Me Down are great. Lots of filler though. 6/10 is fair

carter 2 is better desu

I mean I like it, but it's basically funny punchline pop music. It's music I appreciate but don't listen to often nor do I think it's genius.

>imagine liking music made for 15 year olds

lil wayne is incel-repellent

WEE OOO WEE OOO WEE

Great album, love it. However Carter II is the correct choice

What said. I like carter 3, but carter 2 was better. Most of the songs were pretty good for that time. wish this song was on spotify tbqhf.

Probably his best album but pretty shallow overall. 6.5/10 at the very best and mostly because my nostalgia kicks in when I hear Got Money.

Nah, Carter II sounds too undecided about what it wants to be. Weezy grew massively as an artist on III.

It's great but Lollipop is a fucking terrible song. All the little gayne shit is justified for that and the ""rock"" album he did

carter 2 is pure unfiltered dirty south bangers. carter 3 is the album that's all over the place. if I wanna hear a weezy album I'm putting 2 on

>Rap

Man it’s pretty shitty honestly

Can we all at least agree that his best mixtape was dedication 2, followed by no ceilings and drought 3

for me, it's no ceilings>drought 3>dedication 2

Okay, this isn't going well. But we can surely agree that his rock attempt was his worst album, r-right?

if you're referring to Rebirth, that album is ironically good, kinda like how Angelic 2 the Core is

Sure. I didn't like I am not a human being either.

>I am not a human being
Had a lot catchy beats IMO. Also Nicki is fucking great on What's Wrong With Them.

Also, his last decent project was carter 4. Everything after was shit

even carter 4 has like 5 good songs max

>hating on Dedication 6
>thinking V isn't decent if you ignore a few (half the) tracks

fair enough. I used to like gonorrhea back in the day.

Nightmares on the bottom, 6'7, john, up and away???

I didn't bother after dedication 4. As for cater 5, I guess im just being a nostaligiafag for his older projects

>Nightmares on the bottom, 6'7, john, up and away???
looking at the tracklist, the songs I remember thinking were alright to good was
>6 foot 7 foot
>john
>she will
>president carter
not even 5. I remember being beyond disappointed by this thing. 6 foot 7 foot is legendary though

> 6 foot 7 foot is legendary though
I remember watching the music video premiering on mtv. Everybody at school kept saying that lasagna line. Good times. Im pretty sure that was the last we heard of cory gunz.

yeah I was in grade 12 when it came out and that song was massive with the entire school. you couldn't go to a bar or a party without hearing it throughout the night. lil wayne was easily the biggest thing in music during my high school years. every time he put something new out it was like an event

True. I was in grade 11 when it came out. Back when YMCMB ruled the charts, Bedrock was overplayed on the radio, and wayne was trying to push his truckfit merch. I only only saw one person wear that shit. Also, during carter 3 era, wayne was featerd on a lot of songs, so you couldn't escape him on the radio. Its funny because when tpain did an interview recently he said he had to stop for a while because he had too many songs on the radio despite having less songs than wayne at the time.

>tfw downloading uncensored Make It Rain video from Limewire and having a fap to naked chicks next to Fat Joe

yeah the dude is prolific. he was basically constantly recording during that era. the documentary he made is pretty cool

reminder that 2008 p4k gave this one only #11 on the year end list but would give it #1 no question now

lil wayne more like lil gayne if 2pac was alive he would be working at mcdondalds

patrician

Carter II is classic of the 2000s dirty south era. the long lengths, the thicc bass, the clear instrumentation instead of dusty samples. Wayne is lyrically on point too. I like C3, its the record he made at his peak of power, but C2 is his best imo

>cory gunz
S

6' 7' had so many fucking quotables, its punchline after punchline
>Swagger down pat, call that shit Patricia

I hated Lollipop too, when I was 12. the older I get, the sexier it gets

>the older I get, the sexier it gets
Iktf.

Outside of wayne, drake and nicki, everyone from YMCMB/Rich gang are bums now. Except for currency. I still bump his shit.

Lollipop still sounds like shit

a millie a millie a millie a millie

peaked with the birdman album

weird way to spell carter 5
