Go back to redd*t if you care so much about what they think.
These points are all fair but whoever typed this out knows jack shit about songwriting, or just how good Lennon’s songs were. A Day in the Life is a level of musicality few have ever reached and it almost didn’t even get made because he didn’t like it that much. Sure he’s an asshole but to say he’s not a genius level visionary musician is retarded
If we're going by the piece of shit wife beater and cheater route then also mention that George and specially Ringo were drug addicts and wife beaters as well, but here's the difference: George and Ringo got sober decades after this while John as soon as he came out of retirement he got fucking killed and it's pretty weird that you don't mention that while on his Lost Weekend period he was trying to reconnect with Julian and only stopped after Yoko got pregnant with Sean that may I remind you, it was the first successful pregnancy after her miscarriages that she had earlier and
>"Sean was a planned child, and therein lies the difference. I don't love Julian any less as a child. He's still my son, whether he came from a bottle of whiskey or because they didn't have pills in those days. He's here, he belongs to me, and he always will." He said he was trying to reestablish a connection with the then 17-year-old, and confidently predicted, "Julian and I will have a relationship in the future."
Apparently people and especially those shallow reddit-bros can't wrap their hair around the fact that an artist can be a bad person AND write great music at the same time
Yeah we only suck scrufftangau cock here!
>John Lennon is a bad person because I know of anecdotal things that happened in his life
high achievers, especially in fields like music, are naturally very low inhibition. this leads to a lot of anti-social behaviour.
I dont think he's a bad person though. I dont think anyone really is, and that the good/bad people distinction is just a low IQ gigacope for normies who cant fathom a world that isn't utterly simplified by banal dualities.
Most of this post is untrue and most of the part that isn't is greatly exaggerated.
OP is a gigantic faggot and should go back.
>John Lennon
>bad person because of rumours
>mumble rap nigger #1256134 with an eight page rap sheet
>actually a good person
Defending a literal woman abuser, racist mysoginist person.
This place is shit. Thank you for nothing. Paul will ever be the greatest musician no matter what happens ;). Goodbye.
See you tomorrow with the same image.
Was any of this news to anyone? Have you fucking listened to Run for Your Life?
Even the Onion thinks you're a cuck, OP.

May I remind that the 4 of them refused to play at segregated venues?
John knew he was a dick and really tried to change in the last decade of his life. It's not as publicised as his Beatles years or early solo career. But when he took time off to raise Sean, he really tried to change. He built bridges with Julian and apologised to Cynthia. I also don't recall Lennon ever being on heroin. Epstein made the call to lie about being single because he thought it'd win over more teen girls. There is no one person who can be blamed for breaking The Beatles up, they just drifted apart. By the end they were just bickering over anything, watch Let It Be it's downright depressing. He never claimed to be an amazing musician, or the most proficient songwriter. His strengths lie more emotional than on technical perfection, just like Paul. That also shows a real lack of understanding for the song Imagine.
There's definitely bad points to Lennon and I am a little bit biased I will admit that. But he really did change in the 70s and you cannot deny his songwriting ability. This historical revisionism witch hunt is just pointless and stupid. It's enforcing 2019 values on a man born in 1940. Plenty of people beat their wives. If we take each one of them out of history we'll have no fucker left.
>the beatles
>john lennon
paul is objectively the best beatle

How so?
>In My Life
Nah, John's objectively the best beatle
>he hasnt taken the Ringopill
