My dads said before that Echo and the Bunnymen are his favourite band but I’ve only ever heard him play two songs by them. I’d probably say his real favourite band are The Waterboys. My mum is really into Boards of Canada funnily enough, although both my parents don’t listen to music a lot, so they strictly listen to songs from various artists. I can’t say they have patrician taste but one of the albums that is cemented in my childhood is Mezzanine by Massive Attack and that’s still one of my favourite albums to this day, so I appreciate them for that at least.
