What are your thoughts on RYM's all-time rankings for progressive rock?
Personally, I think they're pretty good. However, I would say that Genesis gets screwed a little bit. Selling England belongs right up near the top.

Needs way more Rush and way less Pink Floyd
>needs more shitty non-prog hard rock band instead of shitty non-prog hard rock band
Moving Pictures is way down at 16. I agree that should definitely be higher.
Who gives a shit about some RYM chart
Not you, that's for sure. What's your favourite prog-rock album, user?
MDK
Either Lark's Tongue in Aspic or Discipline, I'm very big on King Crimson. Thanks for asking! What's your favourite?
I flip back and forth between Red and Close to the Edge. Right now I think it's Close to the Edge.
>RYM
accurate
****females on rym
>Replace shitty prog with shitty prog
Pretty much what you'd expect. They're not my personal choices, but there's no reason to expect them to be.
lol none of thsoe are even close to Henry Cow or Ground Zero
ProgArchives is better, DSoTM isn't even prog
No, Prog Archives is horrid shit, way worse than RYM's chart. The only decent chart for progressive rock is the one for Gnosis2000, and the reason why this is so is because you need to listen to over a thousand prog rock albums to qualify y for having an account, which ends up with a list of music that's great, and not just entry-level prog rock.
yes should be higher
no reason for 2 floyd albums including the one thats not even that good to be up there
Too biased towards the classics but overall pretty good
Avant Math God pls go
Too much reddit-era pink floyd.
pink floyd isn't prog. ignore that and they're okay, i don't get the hype for red though
>pink floyd isn't prog
Retard status: filtered
He's right though.
