Kurt Cobain was essentially a clout martyr

Kurt Cobain was essentially a clout martyr.

Everyone is claiming this was a random suicide, but it's clear what was actually happening: he was driven to take his life solely because he was overwhelmed by the enormousness of clout. He couldn't handle the fame and dealt with it by gunning down his 27-year old self.

As Kurt's dead body laid in the greenhouse, he was surrounded by journalists taking pictures of his mangled corpse. Why? For clout. No one was respecting the dead, no one was questioning why he did it, everyone was standing around with their paparazzi cameras as his body lay there rotting in a pool of blood.

The moral lesson of Cobain's life story should be a cautionary tale of the horrors of the culture industry and how it's fucked our society beyond belief.

RIP Kurt. See you in Heaven...

Not a small lost for music.

Kurt was a legend.

paparazzi is in a way like evil itself
everyone fucking hates it and wants it to go away, but it's a force of nature
it cant be stopped

Fame is like a drug.

It makes you feel higher than you've ever felt before but it also kills you.

But once it leaves, you demand it come back, because you can't live without it.

>It makes you feel higher than you've ever felt before
i doubt that i wouldnt fucking hate it

>falling for the 'kurt was a troubled artist who killed himself because he couldn't handle the fame' meme

It's all Dave trying to cover his tracks. He knows the truth is coming out, and is pushing these memes to keep the lie alive.
We know what you did, Dave, and we won't let you win without admitting the truth.

>dave
>not courtney
Ever seen Soaked in Bleach?

Ever listen to I'll Stick Around by the Foo Fighters? Of course you have, Dave

He was tortured. He was a heroin addict.

killed by his drugwhore slut golddigger wife you retards

>culture industry
I like that term
but I think it was a variety of things: pre-existing depression, pressure to make another album while his inspiration was spent, worry about the future (who the fuck cares about 50-year-old rock stars? they inevitably become a laughable nostalgia act), drug dependency, lack of anyone in his personal life giving a real shit about him

and of course, the world being obsessed with his personal life. but that was just one monkey in the barrel

Most of these are connected to his fame though.

Kurt made GUSIC.

NO

>frequent and destructive onstage meltdowns
>those sketchbooks
>those lyrics
It's so unbearably clear now that he had autism.

I feel like most people kinda know how fucked up the entertainment industry is but they just choose to ignore it. which is fucked up because that's why this shits not getting any better. people think they cant make a difference so they don't even try anymore. gotta act like a clown or say utterly outrageous/belligerent things to get anyone's attention nowadays. remember when Michael Jackson was alive he was constantly parodied inn movies n shit, when he died all of a sudden he was the king of pop? Van Gogh was a poor crazy man who didn't make shit from his paintings. Dude lived a poor and sad life. Wasn't until he died people started giving a shit. We gotta start appreciating/respecting these people when they're here man. They might not be here to create the little things that take us away from all the mundane bullshit/routine things we gotta do just to be alive. Nobody cares anymore unless it puts a buck in their wallet. That's some sad shit.

Mmm sure. What you say is Gospel.

Maybe he did it because of his drug habit.

>remember when Michael Jackson was alive he was constantly parodied inn movies n shit, when he died all of a sudden he was the king of pop?

remember when Michael Jackson was alive and he was relentlessly harassed and defamed by the media and small people's opinions, when he died all of a sudden everyone felt bad...

then they brushed themselves off like they never did anything wrong and got back to the business of being low lifes.

Remember when Michael Jackson was alive and he molested a bunch of children?

I don't even think they felt that bad. They just knew that sadness sells, so they go on the tv and go boohoo this pedo died be sad everyone. That's why there's all these bitchass manlet zoomers calling themselves sadbois n shit, sadness sells. Rock music used to be as popular as rap is now. Punk used to be super popular because in the 80s it was being pissed that made profit.

And you know what, he probably did. He had a fucked up childhood. So then why was he all of the sudden being called KING of pop if he was a child molester?

If he wasn't a child molester, then it was fucked up how he was constantly having that shit shoved in his face. If he was a child molester why didn't he die a child molester? It's almost like the media just decided to delete that giant thing that happened. Louis CK wagged his knob at some women, didn't touch em, didn't force em to do anything. And now it seems like his career is over. whats the deal with that? not saying that's a cool thing to do but it doesn't really seem to be on the same level as MOLESTING A CHILD
