agreed. the idea of complete isolation and a futile endless existence is whats really creepy here. the utter unremarkablity of the pic is what makes it's it so eerie and stubbly off putting. the idea of an entire reality of nothing more than banal unromantic room, cold desolate and oppressively mundane. last line strips it of all it's power
