Ricky is a fucking BANGER

I don't want to, Denzel Curry is a hack who makes boring music and is severely overrated by basic bros who think he's "deep" because he doesn't rap about drugs and sex.

this is way better than I expected it to be and I expected it to be great

might actually be better than Igor

Noice. I'm going to listen as soon as he releases it tonight.

baww harder, just cause its better than shillgor

>no shillie features
THANK GOD.

>rent free

Support the artist. Don't pirate. Streaming services are literally free.

this guy sucks. All the new school guys suck ass

What will Söytano give it?

You think he'll rate it higher than smee-gor?

yeah bro i miss tupac

I'm predicting a strong 9

this whole album is fucking FIRE

It better be. If it's not I'm going to write off this board for hyping it up for nothing.

>rap
>artist

Trash taste confirmed

meh..

I hate Tupac too. I was more of a Biggie guy

prove hes not an artist

Where are his paintings?

He looks like he enjoys sharing coffee with teenage white girls.

Attached: 155589215484382689.webm (428x240, 646K)

thanks bro, I'm gonna listen to it now and stream it when available :)

you must really want him to fuck this white girl

Remember a week or so ago when he was the only one NOT relying on back play during Rolling Loud?

AOTY

PLEASE DELIVER

see

Conch-on-potato r*pe.

I’m on my phone so can’t download ATM.

What does it sound like? Typical trap bangers? More melodic? More pop? More avant garde? More loud?

Man, Denzel shouldn't be hanging out with this whore. He should hang out with Joey Badass and the rest of Pro Era.

All of us feel the same way. Shillie will be his Courtney if you catch my drift.

people yell at billie for hanging with zel and vice versa but go on about it constantly, as if they arent allowed to be friends. LOL

I get the impression Curry is close to her because he knows she’s being exploited by the industry and empathizes with her. Just a hunch but given as to how he seems pretty breadpilled in the culture industry and she’s an industry plant (meaning Interscope has her on a leash) this could be the case.

At least an 8.

>tfw no schizophrenic SoundCloud bf

FeelsBadGirl

Please be in Melbourne

not-typical, absolutely off the wall, more loud trap bangers

Montreal

He drew a comic book, actually. Takes place in a post-apocalyptic Miami.

That's because he actually trains his voice to not get overworked and tired.

>oh man this album is awesome I would love to see him live
>cheapest tickets are $300

Attached: welp.png (645x773, 11K)

Good, more music to paint chaotic images and freak out my neighbours.

Makes sense. When I saw him back in the fall his backplay cut out in the middle of a song and he kept going. I guess that's what happens when you're not fucking your voice and body over with drugs.

That's the tour he's going on with Shillie. I saw him for $32 CAD.

i gotttem for £19

he'll tour again after the Billie tour

He's going on tour with City Morgue and SuicideBoyz right after. And they're playing seedy clubs for pretty cheap.

>makes rap AOTY twice in a row
Good times, man.

>Taboo
>rap AOTY
yeah nah

>City Morgue
HOLY FU--
>and SuicideBoyz
hard pass

Attached: screamer.png (600x600, 301K)

You can always stay at the bar when SB go on stage.

>better than astroworld
>better than scorpion
>better than oxnard
>better than some rap songs
>better than daytona
>better than invasion of privacy

>better than Astroworld and/or Daytona
no

I've taken shits which sound better than Astroworld.

I wonder if another screaming rapper (Scarlxrd) will take cues, now that he's sober.

I'd only be uninterested because of $B's fanbase.

I'm super hyped for this, but I'm not gonna listen until it comes out at midnight. Ta13oo was my favorite album of 2018 so I really hope this is as good if not better than that. I love Denzel, he's honestly one of the best artists of this generation. preparing by listening to Imperial, then Ta13oo (his two best projects), then listening to it at midnight. Gonna be a good night.

fucking this

It's so autistic to think you should be dictating who an artist can hang out with.

fucking good album

To be honest, I prefer Zilla to Scarlxrd. Zilla at least seems to have better vocal control (given that he was in a punk band and was probably given a few pointers from others in the scene), plus his entire shock artistry is pretty entertaining. SL seems like a one-trick pony by comparison.

When are they going to duet live? I'm very curious to see how they perform together.

no i just really want a denzel joey project

Objective ranking
>Plebeian: Tupac
>Contrarian: Nas
> Patrician: Biggie

Why don't most rappers try anymore?

based

They're shit performers who were only signed and promoted because they were a quick buck for the label.

can't help but think about that porn video with Denzel in it

Posting the video just for the hell of it. The crowd is horribly stiff.
youtube.com/watch?v=S-np50Y3LXo

I like Joey but I don't think him and Denzel would have very good chemistry desu

why is this user? I can for some reason forsee this but I don't understand why

ur a fuckin faggot for not posting a link
pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph5aa7686799f7d

this

>any friendly relationship between a black man and white girl is de facto rape
Keep your bullshit in /pol/.

Training an artist to give Broadway-tier live performances takes time and money the label doesn't want to use.

>support the artist
>stream it
I'm sure Denzel Curry appreciates the .003 cents per listen.

Denzel Curry has been around since before this "newschool" trend of rappers like Carti, Uzi, Yachti, etc...he was coming up around the time of Raider Klan and Spaceghost Purrpp, and Odd Future back in like 2008-2009. He's been around for at least 9 years. He also doesn't subscribe to the shitty mumble rap sound. He's probably one of the more interesting rappers around these days desu.

keep your virtual signaling on twitter

>Yachti
im sorry I know its an honest typo but my fucking sides holy shit it isn't even that funny but God

>mfw people still refer to curry as a "soundcloud rapper"

Meh I don't care if I spelled his name wrong anyway, he's trash.

Honest question: is there a GOOD mumble rapper, or do they all sound like shit?

He's hardly a soundcloud rapper, I've never considered him as such. First thing I heard Curry was this.

youtube.com/watch?v=av8tGcjqqRc

Anyway, I've kept away from Hip-hop in recent years because it's all become so sub-par. But this album is something interesting. WISH sounds like he took the ideas Lil Peep or Bones was working with but actually made them pleasing and interesting instead of cringey horseshit.

I don't know, I've not kept up with mumble rap because it completely defeats the purpose of rap in my opinion. Their lyrics are weak as fuck and all anyone in the subgenre cares about is a "dope beat with a nice flow". I want lyrics and multis and shit chopped up by syllables that are distinguished by inflection.

TL;DR: No. No there isn't.

I like some of Uzi's songs (ex. 20 Min, Erase Your Social, Watch), but not many. Yachty came out with 1 good album (Lil Boat mixtape), and that was like a 6/10 at best. I actually like Carti's voice and Die Lit was pretty ok (not great). I like some of the stuff on 21 Savages I Am>I Was, but I mean I feel like thats the album where he grew out of mumble rap so I don't know if it really counts. I mean, other than that, nothing really comes to mind.

>WISH sounds like he took the ideas Lil Peep or Bones was working with but actually made them pleasing and interesting instead of cringey horseshit.
Good to know. It just turned midnight in my area so I'll give it a listen sometime later tonight.

I tried looking for a video but I couldn't find one. They've only done one show on her tour as of now so that's why.

Honestly there's quite a variety of style just from the 5 tracks I've heard and it's refreshing, but at the same time I can't help but feel like Denzel is kind of borrowing too much from other artists on here. It's dope, don't get me wrong. Also the first actual Denzel Curry release I've listened to so I suppose I don't really know what sets him apart just yet.

but he does rap about drugs and sex n if talking about your surroundings is "woke" to you you're a fucking retard

it is currently out :)

I'm faizon with no love

I have never, not once, heard anyone refer to Denzel Curry as "deep". You sure you aren't just making shit up user?

Why does Ricky only have 8 million views when it's been out for three weeks? Should be much higher.
>muh sleeping on
>muh underrated

8 million over 3 weeks really isn't bad for an underground rapper...sure he's become more noticed in recent years but he's still not on a major label.

Meanwhile his child bride gets 8 million views in four hours.

Fucking payola, man.

I like the Clout Cobain video because it depicts a literal act of clout martyrdom.

youtube.com/watch?v=pEZDFv6DNQU

Yeah I definitely hear the lo-fi influence.

I am assuming you mean Billie Eilish? Unfortunately she's an industry plant of the highest degree. Denzel Curry's father worked in the music industry but he hasn't been lifted up and forced through the industry like Eilish has.

Not even just the lo-fi, but that corny R&B style singing, sounds almost apathetic. But yeah so far this album is probably one of the better rap releases this year in my opinion. Then again as I said earlier I haven't been following rap in recent years because a majority of it has been trash.

This is his worst project yet, go listen to Imperial and Taboo

Keep in mind, Billie literally grew up in Hollywood and has said in interviews all her best childhood memories are of her doing talent shows and other events with other industry children.

i'm seeing denzel in september at a festival but christ that crowd is awful, hopefully my one goes better.

Why are most of these songs under 3 minutes in length?

Is he trying to pull an X and do the short-and-sounds-unfinished?

Will do, thanks user.

I'm looking to see him again at Osheaga. A friend of mine told me he can get both of us passes. When I saw him last year the mosh pit was fucking insane, also the dudes were trying to push the girls into the pit so naturally I got shoved a few times.

Taboo dropped in late July so he should've taken more time but I don't hate it

fuck this is actually really good

Can we get a Beast Coast collab or remix

Which festival?

Still think I like Ta13oo better, but if he goes in this same direction but with a longer tracklist for the next album it could potentially be a 10 in my opinion. The album is too short, thats really my only complaint.

Listen Out down in aus.

Scarlxrd was in a metal band, but he mainly rapped. I think he has serious potential, but he needs to get out of his comfort zone more. Zilla (who is better, of course) is doing that right now, can't wait for his solo album.

Whole project was pretty fun to listen to, especially the back half. Were there any moments that you guys enjoyed in particular? The bounce on Carolmart is crazy.

Ghostemane (who's been lowering the volume of his paybacks lately, and when it's time to use live instruments) seems to have pretty good crowds, especially in Russia. I wonder when that song Denzel and him did is going to come out.

youtu.be/DcRABSKHk7E

Fuck, they did a song together?? Now I'm curious.

Nostalgic 64 > 32 Zel / Planet Shrooms > ZUU > Imperial > 13 > King of the Mischievous South > Taboo > S4MR

i paused skepta for this?

baka

Based

They probably bonded over hardcore punk and metal, maybe even over the fact that they're both from cities in South Florida with notorious crime rates.

On Birdz Rn, yeah this is fucking ridiculous. Can’t remember a banger after banger album this consistent since Rodeo.

Issa bop.

i fucking LOVED P.A.T.

Die Lit by Carti is literally THE rap pleb filter. Sorry you didn’t make it through

PAT is good but it's no Threatz

Are we looking at.... AOTY 2019?

RIP was good.

I mean if you grew up with a hollywood family and hollywood kids and were actually passionate about music are you supposed to not use your resources so people on the internet don't call you an industry plant?

An industry plant isn't just "someone with connections", more like someone who is signed to a major label with almost no music to their name and payola'd to ensure they turn a massive profit for the label. The reason industry kids are often planted is because labels like them as they don't pose as much of a risk.

youtube.com/watch?v=Sii5T2x1VD0
He's a bit naive since the vast majority of pop stars are "plants" to some degree, but unlike Billie someone like Ariana or Taylor isn't promoted as DIY or counter-cultural.

Much better than IGOR.

Not better than daytona

KSG was better than bot TABOO and Daytona.

This album is ass. Taboo is clearly better

The way I know Billie has an incredibly stealthy PR team is, interestingly enough, the fact that she was able to brag about being friends with X and quite blatantly jack his style (there's a reason she went "dark and suicidal" after he died, it was all a way of appealing to his audience) all while never getting shit for it. Denzel, Ski, Kendrick, and Alicia Keys to name a few have all defended X or done tributes to him and have all gotten attacked for doing so, but Billie hasn't. That makes me think there's something going on. Like Denzel gets called out for talking about restorative justice ("Jah should have been given a chance to redeem himself") but Billie gets zero criticism for clout chasing.

Attached: xxxbillxxxx.png (593x595, 560K)

Taboo sucks. Such a step back from Imperial. He was trying way too hard to compete with other Florida rappers and made the album feel unfocused and all over the place. Zuu is painfully short but a step in the right direction.

He was in a punk band? Is there any of their music online?

This is more of an EP but yes EPOTY. Can't wait for the reviews confirming this.

>Zuu is painfully short
Fucking good. Every other rapper and his mother padding out their album for streaming bucks fucking sucks ass.

Attached: 1539557841407.gif (300x225, 1.96M)

We need to stream ZUU so Curry can finally get the album bomb he deserves.

It's an 8/10 for me, it'll certainly be on rotation on my phone for a while

It's absolute bullshit.

WITH Billie he sells out 10k-capacity stadiums.

WITHOUT Billie he barely sells out a 900-capacity club.

If you were a relatively underground artist which would you choose?

MY MAN DENZEL A SLAVE TO WHITE PUSSY

FREE MY MAN DENZEL FROM THE OPPRESSIVE WHITES

How in the absolute FUCK does Zel manage to outdo every other rapper ever fucking time

Fuck Tyler, fuck Drake, fuck Kendrick, fuck em all

>be me
>go on twitter
>see Curry is trending
>click
>mfw it's Steph not Denzel

drake is low effort shit, shouldn't be surprising
kendrick is alright, but he's overrated and on a downward spiral, DAMN just wasn't very interesting
tyler is mediocre imo

Wow, two classics drop in one day!!

Curry isn't a "n****r", he's quite intelligent and lyrical.

Imperial > Zuu > TABOO > 64

Your mother is not shit, your father is not shit.

This is actually 100% accurate.

Take your ass back to where it belongs: /pol/.

The title track itself is a banger.

WISH is in the top three best Denzel songs.

Attached: 1556190254947.gif (350x350, 141K)

Fuck you. SKINS was the best rap album of 2018.

RIP Jah. See you in Heaven...

lol jah posting is too much

i still can't believe all it took was his death for him to blow up so much

He was already huge when he died. Had the no.1 album for a few weeks and a batshit insane fan base. If anything, his death was a blessing in disguise, because not only did it propel him to the status of "legend" but had he lived he would have been certainly convicted of all the abuse charges and spent decades in prison where he'd rot away and be forgotten.

>a batshit insane fan base.
Don't you mean a legion of 10-16 year olds?

You'd be surprised as to how many older people liked X. I remember seeing a 40-year old black woman commenting on some X audio video saying how she and her son were both huge fans.

Bizarre. Absolutely never saw the appeal.

His SoundCloud stuff was very good. His mainstream stuff was shit.

>It wasn’t better than die lit***

Miami Gardens isn't that much of a hellhole is it?

>Igor
fucking low bar user, happy its better than TA1300

Is it Yea Forumscore?

What's sexual about sharing a coffee?

you don't know? if a male and female do absolutely anything together it means that they're fucking

*black male and white female

Either way, Denzel doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would sexually exploit a teenager. He's a survivor of sexual abuse after all.

Why though?

His performance with Purrp the day before was tearjerking.

Did you go to his show earlier this year? Gotta be one of the best shows I've been to, even better than Death Grips'

Album bombs are the result of payola, chief.

nah i missed out since i was broke when tickets were selling but heard it was great.
I did go to death grips in st kilda back in 2017 which was a great show so if it’s up there at least i got an eventual concert to look forward too if the festival crowd sucks.

fpbp

I liked the sound of Cash Maniac from TA13OO but besides that Denzel Curry just makes extremely generic trap with hacky tryhard lyrics

Imagine thinking mindless FOTM pop trash is better than an album with relatable themes and a full specific artistic vision

Oh yes it is.

only about half way through but is every song on this thing about him comin out of the hood?

can a nigga get a mega 320 link plz?

How are people enjoying this shit? Taboo was a lot better

GAHD DANG DENZEL U GONE AND DONE IT AGEEN

May rap releases
ZUU > Injury Reserve > Nothing Great About Britain > IGOR

daytona > ta13oo > rest

try playboi carti - s/t, objectively his best album

this is right

>He's a survivor of sexual abuse after all.
rly

it really depends where you see him, I saw him in a tiny venue and it was fucking nuts

Smaller is always more intense. Same for metal concerts.

>extremely generic trap
I don't know if you realize this but he started while Rapping on SGP-like productions, on "Phonk", which isn't actually "Trap" music but lo-fi music inspired by Memphis Hip Hop.

Today Phonk trill style beats have merged with Trap and Denzel started to gradually stop Rapping on pure Phonk beats and started to Rap on beats produced by the likes of Ronny J that are closer to Atlanta Trap on "Imperial", though to be honest the soundscape reminds you of something Three 6 mafia or SGP.

Curry has a history of embodying Purrp and Raider Klan’s lo-fi style, remixing ‘90s retro raps and the sounds of early Memphis (Three 6 Mafia, 8Ball & MJG) into his own identity.

The Raider Klxn sound is unique but EVERYONE COPIED it, it was very influential. But if you ask me Denzel reminds me more of some Three-6 Mafia than some Gucci Mane.

Predict the score.

dubs for strong 9

Attached: 1558059277041.png (409x409, 185K)

Joey compared to Denzel in interviews is way more quiet and mellowed out. Denzel is way more eager and talkative .

light to decent 7

>listening to nigger shit
lmao sorry op but i don't have toilet taste

Yeah he said in an interview that he was molested as a kid, but doesn't like talking about it because he doesn't want it to define him.

I think Ski Mask the Slump God is arguably good, only because he does mumble rap like no other artist, he makes it his own.

Lil Pump, Youmg Thug, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, just to name a few good ones.

Oldfag here. This has been the first album I've enjoyed all year. Congratulations on making a banger zoomers! Even the yoo skit gave me a chuckle.

>Oldfag here.
Summer already?

Strong 7 to light 8

I like it more than Taboo. Although the singing vocals of Zuu and the songs Automatic and whatever the fuck that last track was were pretty bad. The rest of this album is great.

Makes me proud to be from Dade. Oh and pitbull

Saw Denzel in RL 2017. The crowd there was insane. People around here think it was the larger amount of foreigners coming from different states, considering the amount of people was double last year. They not being locals, or fans of him really, didn't want to move.

SPEEDBOAT

PRAY TO GOD I DON'T GET REPOED

thx for sharing, with the new tyler and this i will have some material for the next weeks

Fucking love the vibes in WISH
Didn't know curry had this in him. It's good but not as good as TABOO but I doubt he wanted it to be.

Solid 7

Deffo agree.

what you talking bout man?
denzel can already be described as one of the OG's in the game now, damn, he even had track with Lil Ugly Mane, how much more evidence do you need, that he is good,
youtube.com/watch?v=8mjQCG4gLYo

Ski Mask isn't really mumble rap but he's good

tyler is not rap music tho

Suicide/Commit.

It would be better if he didn't release albums and just released a single every week

this album make me want to visit Miami

It’s fucking boring

PAT goes hard, rest of the album is a bit underwhelming on first listen

cringe

P.A.T. is hard af. Denzel's very own sipping tea in your hood.

this, man shouldn't work with anyone other than ronny j

birdz tho

It is. It’s piss poor, especially compared to Taboo.
Quit being a boot licking faggot.

I'm old as fuck and I gave up on hip hop a few years ago but I'll give it a listen because I remember this little nigga his Nostalgic 64 days.

That whole interview was just whack. "Tell us about how X's murder affected you", "tell us about how your brother's murder affected you", "tell us about how you were molested", etc. etc. If you watch it you can even see how Denzel goes from very energetic to uncomfortable and downright somber all throughout.

Why won't Curry put LUM on one of his albums?

/thread

Because he is White.

Twistin’
Zeltron 6 Billion
Mystical Virus 3
etc...

...

Sadly they will either stay irrelevant or become sell outs like 6ix9ine.

It could work. Joey is versatile. I think Joey could make an zuu or ta1300, but Denzel couldn't make an amerikkkan bada$$.

Denzel + Billy show like 3 miles from my house this Sunday.. should I buy tickets, will they b wurf?

It's sold out and the tickets are probably 300 bucks.

Keep in mind, I saw Denzel for $30 at a hole-in-the-wall club.

He painted a lot when he was in art school

STICKS OUT LIKE I'M VOLDEMORT
Fucking insanely hype song.

Are they online at all?

I only ask because I draw and paint myself.

Then get your friends to tweet about him so he will trend dumbass.

You live in Redmond?

3.39 / 5.0 from 1,129 ratings on rym

i guess i don't care lol

imagine thinking this stinky shit is better than this stinky shit

Anything higher than a 3 is considered "good" as far as I'm concerned. The rating is inevitably going to go up.

I've seen some drawings somewhere, but haven't looked for them so idk

much better than taboo and imperial for sure
this shilling is very obnoxious tho
also 32 zel/planet shrooms is still his best work and he made better content in raider klan than he has under loma vista
oh, and fuck his audience since imperial. kinda hate being a fan now because i dont wanna be associated with faggots like that who listen to jpegmafia, suicideboys, xxxtentacion post yung bratz, lil ugly mane post oblivion access, etc.
32z/ps > zuu > n64 > king of the mischevious south > taboo > the rest of his mixtapes > imperial

His fanbase is obnoxious since ultimate became a meme.

IMO, he started going down the toilet right after the clown video was released. While nicely done, the whole video seemed like he and his director wanted to do something which they knew would be provocative. And it worked, given as to how it's the only video of Curry's which has almost 100 million views while his much better songs barely have 2-3 million.

It was actually right after the clown video went viral when you started seeing his live shows get advertised at places like Zumiez and Hot Topic and all the emo/fake goth kids started lapping his shit up. Before that he was basically an underground literal who despite being much more talented than other zoomer Florida rappers.

That is prcisely why Denzel is going on tour with Billie Eilish, the most blatant industry plan we've seen in years.

So yeah it shouldn't come as much of a surprise at all that all the new Curry fans are the same dipshits who listen to Jumex.

One of his top songs DESU.

this is kinda sad to read
I liked N64, didn't listen to most of his stuff after that

Don't get me wrong, TA1300 and ZUU are fantastic albums even if a bit flawed. It's not the artist who's gone downhill but the bulk of his fans.

Also, the only silver lining about the tour thing is, all those 13-year old white girls will finally be exposed to some good hip hop.

>kinda hate being a fan now because i dont wanna be associated with faggots like that who
You are the worst kind of music listener. Why do you give a shit what his other fans are like? Are you really that worried about your own stupid image rather than the actual music? Fuck off.

It's kind of cringey to see his primary fans go from hardcore hip hop fanatics to vapid mallgoths, not going to lie.

I found the video and it doesn't look like they perform together at all.
youtube.com/watch?v=WLfgDXdnw0s

That's just Billie's part.

Broward here, why the fuck would you be proud to be from Dade because of Pitbull?

Aren't Dade and Broward the Floridas of Florida?

Scarlxrd has some pretty solid numbers for a mostly underground audience (most of his fanbase is apparently Russian or Brazilian), and I'm 100% sure Zilla won't sell out like that pedo 6ix9ine. Besides, I don't think either really have that "mainstream appeal", you know? Think of emo rap for example, X was too violent and Peep was too high, now Juice WRLD is the "king" of the fusion genre because he's a lot safer than either for a mainstream audience.

Denzel isn't a zoomer, he's a millennial.

No, that's North Florida. We're the Little Caribbean/New York of Florida.

t. Jamaican American

>born 1995
That's zoomer.

He's born in '95, that's early zoomer. The last millennials were born in '93.

Zoomers are born after 1999

Zoomer is born from 1995-2005. By that logic, Peep and X weren't zoomers.

>some Zoomers are 26
"no" Once you hit 20 you are no longer a Zoomer, you are a Boomer

Not anymore. The final Millennial year is either 1996 or 2000. As someone born in 1997 who doesn't feel like he's in the same generation as his 11 year old brother, guess which one I'm all for.

Lil Peep was definitely a Boomer

The hell? Since when are generations 10 years?

You're not allowed to keep moving the line according to "how you feel". It doesn't matter which one you're "all in for". If you're born in 1994 or later I'm sorry, you're a "zoomer".

anything pop like black balloons?

You're right, obvious 1993 user. That's why the definition of Millennial hasn't been set in stone, even to this day. The Pew Research Center wants to make the stop-gap at 1996, though.

I think we can agree that this is incorrect.

I was born in '88.

>all this arguing about boomers and zoomers
I thought this shit had been made clear ages ago.
The cutoff age to be a zoomer is 1998. If you were born in or after 1998, you are a zoomer. If you were born between 1995 and 1997, you are a millenial but specifically a "zoomber". And finally, if you were born between 1990 and 1994, you are a true millenial.

>I guess that's what happens when you're not fucking your voice and body over with drugs.
Denzel Curry is straightedge?

only correct poster

he didn't say it was

what would you rap about if you were him?

Carol City is still one of the worst parts of Florida. Nothing wrong with making a slew of autobiographical songs.

"I do not fuck with the percs, I barely fuck with the Earth"

yeah

barely anybody does percs, that's not an accomplishment

Yes, and he credits his sobriety for why he didn't end up dead or doing other crazy shit. He's a recovering alcoholic IIRC.

A lot of new, aggressive rappers tend to in actuality, be straight edge. Zillakami doesn't do drugs or even drink in reality, he's a quiet introvert who'd rather play Dark Souls than party.

Anyone got that image of Peep's pro-drug tweet juxtaposed with BONES' anti-drug tweet?

Percs and Fent are literally everywhere in the US.

Heroin becomes an issue once people run out of money for percs and fent.

Only "WISH" so far.

he’s gonna get such a garbage audience when he tours as billie Elish opener

seriously who is paying him to do that and how much?

They're already playing shows together. Apparently, they're "friends".

There’s absolutely no way they’re “friends”, it’s all for show & to cultivate bilie’s aesthetic. It’s the same shit w/ Vince staples.
someone is paying these literal hood rappers lots of money to associate themselves w/ this rich girl, I know it.

That's why I put "friends" in quotations. When Shillie released her album, tons of other rappers posted about it congratulating her except for Denzel. Keep in mind, he posts a lot of IG stories about other local Miami rappers. Kind of telling how he never posts about Shillie at all.

Armand Hammer and Ka enter the chat

To add, Shillie needs Denzel way more than Denzel needs her. Curry easily makes good album after good album without needing to resort to gimmicks or social media bullshit. On the other hand, Shillie, as an industry plant, needs to gain a lot of credibility in order to maintain a sense of "she's soooo authentic and deep and socially conscious, she's not plastic like Ariana!". So naturally, she gets paired up with rappers who already have a lot of street cred. It's VERY common for industry professionals to do this with newly-fertilized plants.

Nah, but I remember that Bones song lyric.

"I don't pop Xanax because pills are for pussies, never scared of feeling human, I ain't 'fraid of feeling feelings"

GENTRIFIED MIAMI RAP

lmao vince toured with eyelash? imagine how awkward it would be if you're a black guy trying to see gangster rapping and you're surrounded by 14 year old girls.

No. He had a feature on her first EP.

I like it. Cool, straightforward, hard raps.

She knows a thing or two about gentrification, she's from Highland Park.

I wonder which country the original inhabitants of her parents' house were from.

at first glance i thought this was the sad panda
