Consistency

None of those albums are 10/10, only Pet Sounds comes close.

>inb4
Learn what inb4 means, new faggot.

I dont care, fuck you

What this user said.

To elaborate upon his word, I would say consistency of quality, creativity, meaning, impact to listeners, as well as the amount of time the music stays relevant.

What makes albums so hard for me to listen through is the fact that they are all over the place with what their songs mean. I don't want to listen to a song that is upbeat, and gives a really positive message, and then, as soon as that track is over, listen to the woes of a lamenting vocalist. It throws the energy off way too much for me.

Just my personal opinion.

Also, OP is silly for not ignoring the user who ignored his inb4.

I could literally break your neck. Underage retard.

how consistently good it is, how interesting it is and how well it can keep my attention. example of this is madvillainy, attention is kept by dooms amazing rhyme schemes and madlibs little details he adds in the production.
for a 10/10 an album has to emotionally affect me

I bet you struggle to bend your back you old fuck

This, plus originality.

But also minus all the rap stuff, I don’t like rap.

xD!!!!

This
you're using inb4 wrong, it doesn't exclude discussion it just anticipates it

Yea Forumscore tard alert, bzzzt! exile, public enemy and miles davis are miles ahead of the bitch boys, you silly tard. haha now I think about it I'd be embarrassed if I called the bitch boys a 10

Every song on the album has to be good or great, the tracks have to flow well, on top of creativity

I didn’t mean it as a joke I was just agreeing with the guy’s first point, but I can’t relate to his own analogy using MF Doom because I’m into rap

Every song has to be great.

Neat 10s.

lol

Because you’re an idiot.

I just took a 10/10 shit

I call it MBDTF

emotional intensity or struggles with family, love, or illness because it allows the music to ascend normal conventions and represent parts of humanity that never change.
examples include Jackson C. Frank's S/T debut, Animal Mother by Today Is The Day, and Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan

All killer no filler. A filler always sticks out synesthetically and stains the album. Also if you return to it and also also if it feels like a journey and takes you somewhere.

What if the album has a lot of short songs?

For me, a 10/10 is a rare album that affects me on a personal level and only ever gets better.

The only albums I can say are 10s for sure are pic related, TLCW, and Revolver. Aquemini may join them though, not enough time for me to say that yet though.
