2. Around this time I was in a big Archers of Loaf binge and kept making threads about, I noticed it was based Reisbro posting GO LOAF!!! in those threads

This happened for a few months then it stopped because I assume we both have very busy Chad lives

Then I noticed Basedsnakes bro started posting about LOAF this year and I'm like fuuuuck yeah let's go full LOAFmode and here we are today and everyone's having a great time

I don't know, other than Loaf, Pixies, Pavement, and Built; they're one of the more accessible acts.

Don't know if they'd be considered or not.

A lot of those bands are good. There's a lot of crossover appeal with 120 minutes core and the brand of indie/college rock discussed in these threads.

120 Minutes-core was in regular rotation on MTV during 120 Minutes, Alternative Nation, and sometimes daytime.
120 Minutes core was also played on top-40 radio of the era and/or alt-rock radio for the era.
Indie rock was rarely played on 120 Minutes and never played during daytime rotation.
Pixies/Breeders/Pavement were only occasionally played on alt-rock radio.
Modest Mouse broke well after.
Indie rock was almost exclusively played on college radio stations in the 90s and 00s.
