My nigga, rush are amazing. I feel like while many prog bands tend to lose the energy of rock music in their ambitions, Rush always kind of sounded like an artist led zeppelin and I love them for it. They were conceptual but at the same time they always rocked hard and were supremely listenable. Best prog band easily imo, because it’s thought provoking music but you can also blast down the highway listening to their albums like you should be able too with most good rock imo. That being said Jethro Tull are also pretty great and another fav of mine. Check out Aqualung. Also for more modern stuff some of Oh Sees proggier material hits that sweet spot for me as well
