Really been liking this band. Definitely rec if you're a fan of Lush
lmao I'll try again tonight
Loveless... Souvlaki.... that's about it really.....
try Swirlies, Alisojn's Halo, Drop Nineteens, Lilys, The Nightblooms and The Charlottes. I guarantee you'll find something in there you'll enjoy
Men I Trust
haven't heard of them, but I'll check them out. Have a track you like?
I've liked most of the other shoegazing albums I've listened to, but nothing will still compare to the first time I listened to Loveless.
what shoegaze should I listen to if I want to sleep
Xuvetyn and pic related particularly did the bits
You forgot about Lush.
Should - Feed Like Fishes
Sianspheric - Somnium
Anilore - Still Awake
Try those out. If you're fine going into more dream pop territory then I'd try Cocteau Twins - Victorialand. Mazzy Star and Love Spirals Downward are pretty sleepy. On the slowcore side of things I'd rec Galaxie 500 - On Fire and Duster - Stratosphere
yeah, we're all looking for that first listen of Loveless again lmao
I love Lush! Lush is great

how is it possible for every shoegazing band to have a qt frontwomen?
The Meeting Places - Find Yourself Along The Way:

>shoegaze, noise pop, I don't really know but I like it
Sleep ∞ Over - Forever:

>I downloaded this album from a sharethread a while ago because it was labeled as shoegaze but it's more of a dream pop/ambient. Gr8 album tho
Não Ao Futebol Moderno - Vida Que Segue:
youtube.com
>brazilian band, dream pop sound with some shoegaze, psychdelic and post-punk elements, one of my favorite albums of all time
very nice share. thank you.
Damn thanks for that Brazilian band, really enjoying it with the psych/postpunk sounds
Some other South American shoegaze/dream pop I can rec:
Mellonta Tauta - youtube.com
Silvania - youtube.com
Low Dream - youtube.com

Someone in an earlier general said Soda Stereo is like a South American U2 and I kinda see it. Dynamo is a great record though
Noise is a social skill is just so sweet man
Valerie's voice is just perfect (i want to have sex with her)
ride sucks
anything from japan is massively overrated
I would trust op with my life
WE'RE THE KIDS IN AMERICA WHOA
youtube.com
Such a random nostalgia cover
I think it's understood MBV>Slowdive>Ride. Unless you're really into that more alt rock sound, then Ride is probably your go to
ok pleb
I wish I could save her in some sort of time machine
I feel it man. What's your favorite Stereolab track?
anyone know any shoegaze bands or songs that use a slide guitar/pedal steel?
i was thinking it would sound real cool when hooked up to a fuzz or some other effects, a la Loveless flute synth sound
been listening to these guys recently

hmm I don't think that's very common and I'm not a big guitar guy, but I did some looking.

I'd also check Mojave 3, which is definitely more dream pop, but has a lot of country feels to it (members of Slowdive if you didn't know). I also think some All Natural Lemon and Lime Flavors has some
