I bought Reason and my set has been collecting dust. Just been jamming beats out on a shitty midi keyboard; don't even have pads.
How do house producers not go crazy from having essentially the same beat on every song?

no clue
my set has been collecting dust as well unfortunately
been playing a lot on a pad or snare by itself

GODDAM NO GF TRANNY ONAHOLE NIPPLE DABBLE TACO BELL GENERAL
advice on interlacing my moeller before you delete this shameful thread?

practice without interlacing first, just kinda do them together to make sure youre used to it, do it at higher tempos, etc
if you can get that feel down, it should be pretty easy to jump to interlacing
idk how close you are or anything but this is a good way to do it

Reminder /drum/ died because you fags keep posting your ching chong garbage.

おまえ…どこかにいるかわかる?
出って行け!

Started with "ching chong garbage" and the only people contributing to make the general nice either were those posters or were people who tolerated it
It works for /gg/, /drum/ just doesn't have much interesting to discuss/anons in drum don't have anything interesting to discuss
Also
>complaining about anime on Yea Forums
Lol

we're the only three people ever in it except for randos

actually, it didn't really

this pic is pretty accurate
where the animes in green are the only regular /drum/ posters

naw, im a regular - I usually just choose half the time to only post once and then watch the threads die

will shepherd bro ever return :(

im the "im not bumping this thread anymore" guy. im fucking OG.
im kept the initial pre drum generals up with my frenetic schizo posting.

then there that one other angry dude who also chimes in. hes a bit more rude than I am about the whole thing.

you need two gunners - one for me and one for angry rude bro

oh i remember you now yeah
there was the one fag spamming just anime and not contributing but that was the only real issue with the anime posting
most of the anime posters still contributed

I dislike the anime posting on principle.
its totally gay and looks bad.

i mean thats just Yea Forums in general though so...

based desu

I'm primarily a guitarist, but I've been playing drums on and off for several years. I make a lot of noise with my drums and I like to play them loudly, so I don't play them often. Hopefully, I can spend some time to better myself, since I'm at a plateau with my skill (as with guitar). I've seen these generals before, but I never posted in them. Just wanted to say that this drum general idea is neat and I'll be taking a look at the links offered in the OP. I'm sometimes like Yui when it comes to drums, heh. I'm not a beginner drummer necessarily, but if you ask me about drum tuning or drum hardware or something that seems quite basic, I might be completely clueless. :(

So, yeah, just saying thanks OP.

Don't forget to wear ear protection
here's a fast guide to tuning without damaging your drums that has been posted previously
hope the links in OP are helpful to you : )
it's rare these threads do pop up anymore and at times i feel like im the only one who posts them, so i hope to see you in the future when the threads are here : )

kek. That's a lovely image.

and this is the problem but he'll never get it

you're on Yea Forums stop complaining about anime lmao

I was there when it happened, bitch.
I struggled ceaselessly day and night to keep the drum threads alive.
to protect them. to nurture, in the hopes of beautiful drum threads in the future.

ALAS. My efforts were in vain. There were to be no beautiful future drum threads.

only weeb anime shitposting with marginal references to drumming.

my heart . . . it breaks, but unlike the waves it does not heal itself...
with my dying breath I whispered:

"...in all fields . . ."
