I'm not even a U2 hater but Achtung Baby is a little high. It's a great record though but I'd put some of those on the list ahead of it. I'd put Violator, S&E, OKC, Loveless, Weezer, andIn Utero ahead of it. Zooropa shouldn't even be ranked.

Which is kinda ridiculous when in Rolling Stone's top 50 grunge albums they made a point of calling Mellon Collie 'the end of Grunge'. Really a landmark record which was everywhere in 96 and the top selling double-album in the 90s as well. By 97 the musical landscape was vastly changing with Third Eye Blind and soon after nu-metal being at the top of rock.

Green Day was worth being in the discussion for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but there's an equal reason to not have put them in. The Hall is a joke these days.
