Shit, that's me!
>makes everyone around him uncomfortable
how though
i'm always chill with people who go alone
Why do Americans grow up so fast?
>implying random strangers actually give a shit about you
Come back when you're over 18 kid.
As long as he's not stinky or trying to grab my gonads he can stay
joke's on you, I bring my mom
There's no issue going to shows alone. Peoplr dont care, and honeatly its almost better to go to a show alone.
I feel like I make people uncomfortable just by existing in the same space
I think that's projection or something maybe. Unless you smell like shit or are creeping literally nobody cares
I used to be fat so I have low self esteem
why is this post so loud
There are so many people why the fuck would anyone care?
Same, I always just assume everyone hates me. Mostly because I hate me.
same except i'm 25
You should have had high self esteem to begin with, but now you have even more reason to not think that way
The only reason I stopped going is because of the crowds they draw.
Also I always felt like the only person there who didn't give a fuck about being seen. Maybe that's why I wasn't welcome.
I've cucked a guy at a concert once.
I regreted it afterwards because I saw the guy crying and arguing with the girl, but she was the one that asked me out randomly, didn't saw she had a bf
Am I the only person who consistently makes friends with people at gigs? I mean usually I won't bother if I'm with friends but if I go by myself I almost always have conversations with people between acts or after the show and usually go to a bar/club with them afterwards. It's a lot of fun and I've made a lot of good friends this way. Are you people just socially inept?
>Are you people just socially inept?
Pretty much, socially inept, self-loathing, also I don't drink so that doesn't help. Some people get real shitty when you won't have drink.
Not everyone wants to be talked at all the time.
Which is why you read social cues and don't talk to those people.
people sometimes come up and speak to me or give me high fives at shows but our interactions cease entirely once the night is over
Don't feel bad, it was her fault. She lied to both of you
I’m 26 and do this
this meme is the Yea Forums equivalent of Yea Forums's "no singles policy" joke
How would they know you aren't drinking unless you make a deliberate point about it? That's probably why they think you're an asshole.
i get this sometimes but usually its just because i've smoked weed before the show or during.i just get a drink and stop smoking and feel better usually
I don't know man I've had lots of people try to rope to conversations when I just went for the show.
I feel too spergy about being the only black person and people judging me because they think I got lost on the way to a Drake show. Especially if members of the audience have pro-leftist shit on their clothes (they're types who give me the most looks) and it's a "patrician" venue/performer.
lol the way some people react when they see wow see not EVERYONE at the show is white!!!! is insane
More like people say want to grab a drink and I say "no thanks".
That's just my general state of being. I also I don't smoke or drink so...
They probably have black lives matter signs on their lawns
What's your attitude like when saying that? Try something like "I'm good" and act like you maybe had a drink earlier, that might call less attention to you. Cause if your reason for not drinking is to look better then you deserve to have people give you shit.
i'm in chicago. every fucking house on my block has a black lives matter sign, or "hate has no home here," "refugees welcome," some multi language bullshit etc. and it's the whitest neighborhood around
what kind of performers exactly?
Maybe I give off more of a social butterfly vibe than I think I do.
Ie. you're the autist.
>got a double-take from a local-ish noise artist who opened for Full of Hell once
>go home and lookup the FB page for his music
>see "Justice for Mike Brown" posts
>mfw
Why don't you just go to the bar with everyone else and grab some club soda? That way you wouldn't be drawing attention to yourself.
You broke my tiny confidence...
25 yo, I was really considering going to my first concert alone since I don't have any friends.
Will I get noticed and be mocked by people around ?
If I'm alone I won't be able to make any friends then ?
>tfw I planned on going to the stereolab concert at my city when I first heard about it
>tfw all the tickets are already booked
If you don't come across as insecure then less people are likely to fuck with you, but it'll happen regardless. Most concertgoers are insecure warlike pack animals who go there to be seen and showcase themselves, so if they see a guy who just went for the show it's going to fuck with them.
Phew, that’s not me. I’m 27.
27
going alone to the cure concert soon
The quicker you grow up the quicker you can die for Israel
This guy is a fucking retard. Nobody cares.
I brought my mom to Neutral Milk Hotel's last few concerts, we wore matching sweaters.
