The Stone Roses number 78? God I hate Americans

>appetite for destruction not in top 3
>eliminator not top 50

Not my personal picks, obviously, but could have been a lot worse.

Wow, the rockist magazine really doesn't like hardcore punk or metal at all, huh?

Rolling Stone place black artists up way to high in their lists due to their crippling white guilt.

Yeah, they shouldn't even be anywhere in the top 10,000.

wrong don henley album

>12. The Replacements - Tim
I like this. That's a good placement.

>no depeche mode
the absolute state...

Actually they should be number 1 but Americans are dumb

one good song

They're on the 90s list I think

>U2 at 2
>Stop Making Sense not higher up
These are the two major crimes I can make out

Not really, it's just an objective fact that the most talented musicians and entertainers are black. They really are a magical people

Surprisingly okay

Black artists get overpraised simply because they're black.

Prince is good, but arguably even his albums aren't as good as what the critics say. (Especially 1999, where nearly every song runs about 3-4 minutes too long. He's better as a live performer, like all funk/soul artists.)

But was it really necessary to have so many hip-hop albums on this list? All of these albums were already dated by 1990, as hip-hop ages like milk

>hip hop ages like milk
You sure you aren't talkin about white women lmaooo

>All of these albums were already dated by 1990, as hip-hop ages like milk
most of them are still listened to and discussed to this day

Because retards listen only to Violator. Some Great Reward, Black Celebration and Music for the Masses are some of the best albums of the 80s.

Prince is the shit and every bit as good as they say and more.
Hip hop has not fucking "aged like milk". That's like saying that synthpop "aged like milk" because it sounds like the 80s.
I think your view is heavily distorted by your own dislike of black people.

Public Image Ltd suck and shouldn't be there

terrible but very rolling stone in nature.

Public Enemy, De La Soul, and maybe BDP deserve their spots, but Run-DMC, LL Cool J, and Beastie Boys are expired.

>Beastie Boys are expired.
fucking pleb holy shit

Damn no Scary Monsters

They're the RHCP of hip-hop. I still really like Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, though.

I want to see your top 10 lists

>They're the RHCP of hip-hop.
you're the dumbest person in history

>Disintegration and Teenage Nation not even top 40
>NWA, Prince, Madonna, Public Ennemy and Michael above
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

psued

Hip-Hop is the most disposable genre of them all. Even stuff from last year already sounds outdated. It's the audial equivalent of bad fashion trends.

I've never understood the "black don't crack" meme.
The average 50 year old black man looks 50 years old, like everyone else.
I get the feeling that blacks lack the ability to recognize faces and facial traits in the way whites can. Look at how many of them are convinced that Ariana Grande is black.

But most importantly, white women are in their prime from their 16th birthday to their 35th, white men are in their prime from their 25th birthday to their 44th, and blacks never truly have a prime because they are always physically ugly

Only by 50+ year old music critics
(And they only pretend to like them so they don't get called a racist)

1) Talking Heads - Remain in Light

power gap

2) Foetus - Hole
3) Minutemen - Double Nickels On the Dime
4) Joy Division - Closer
5) NoMeansNo - Wrong
6) Daniel Johnston - Hi, How Are You
7) This Heat - Deceit
8) The Pop Group - For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder?
9) Tom Waits - Raindogs
10) Violent Femmes - Hallowed Ground

>dude basic pop is actually patrician
psued

The only good thing this list has going on for itself is the amount of Prince.

>basic

Prince was one of the greatest singles artists of the 80s, I'll give you that, but most of his albums contain shitloads of filler. (Trust me, I've heard everything he's ever done. I much prefer listening to concert bootlegs than the albums.) Parade is a great album though (that for some reason is not on this list) and Purple Rain deserves to be on here (even if it's placed way too high)

No comment on defending hip-hop though. I think your view is heavily distorted by your own worship of black people. It's strange how just by saying "hip hop is shit", all the cucks come out and scream "racist" as if that word means anything and jazz doesn't exist.

1. New Order - Technique
2. Guns & Roses - Appetite
3. Metallica - Ride the Lightning
4. Ultramagnetic MCs - Critical Beatdown
5. Talking Heads - Speaking In Tongues
6. Jesus & Mary Chain - Darklands
7. Wipers - Youth of America
8. Skid Row - Skid Row
9. Scorpions - Love At First Bite
10. Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation

I'll say it again. Public Image Ltd suck and shouldn't be there
