Explain this cover
It’s a Pretty cool album desu. A lotta people gonna feel bad for hating on in immediately. The fuzzy Bass//Synth//Guitar is very creatively produced and reminds me of creepy crawlers moving around on the jungle floor. Constantly moving. The concept of eternal flame is pretty dope.
I don’t know if I’ve turned around on an album so fast. First listen was like a 6/10. 2nd listen was an 8.5/10. Then third listen it stayed about there
just sounds like more of you're dead, wasn't that into it
It's his worst album.
Ok i'm taking the time that there's actually a Flylo thread to ask this:
WHAT DID HE MEAN BY THIS MUSIC VIDEO?
>The anime
>The Robot
>Flylo
>The Black Bird
>The outcome of the clip
youtube.com
Michael Jackson's Bad.
It's all over the place; like Warp had their deadline for him to release a new album and he was like "oh, shit!" and just grabbed a bunch of random files he had worked on in the last 5 or so years and called it good.
but is it good enough to warrant no new music until the next time someone near him dies?
Satanic spin of a past Michael Jackson album cover. Flylo is a devil worshipper, which makes sense considering his connections to John Coltrane
So much for the theory that the devil has all the good music.
> Flylo is a devil worshipper

album is great it kinda loses me in the middle but the later parts are 10/10
im down for flylo threads over the last week of shillgor. great album with some neatly integrated features.
are you fucking kidding me? album of the year? there is no fucking flow to the album at all (as all his other album have), no strong / definitive sound palette like Los Angelas or Cosmogramma, and a bunch of the short 1-2 minute tracks are absolute filler, they do nothing for the album -- to top it off a majority of those tracks sound like they were produced by absolute amateurs. I wouldn't even put a bunch of those songs to my name and I make music as a hobby, this guy does it as a career and he took 5 years and this is what he fucking came up with ? Mediocre album at best, sad to see.
More and Black Balloon Reprise are the standouts and both were released as singles. Two of the strongest tracks with features on them FlyLo has ever done too. Love Black Balloon Reprise so much.
100% with you.
I feel like it's time I step it up and make the FlyLo album that I want to hear instead of waiting/hoping for someone else to make it.
lmao I feel like i was catfished by those singles. Loved the singles but they were the best tracks on the album, the rest pales in comparison pretty hard.
lets do it m8
>FlyLo is a satanist
Damn guess I gotta start listening to his music again
Yeah, there was a lot of filler unfortunately. Some of the funkier tracks with ThunderCat were cool too though.

>Michael Jackson's Bad.
you mean Dangerous homie
My bad. I even have that cassette since my mother would bump it all the time when I was a kid.
All right. Just picked up Reason; should be good to go.
At least try to give him a counter argument numbnuts
he uses ableton now, though i guess you probably prefer his older records.
user, this was answered for you in your thread before it died:
>i personally see it as acknowledgement that the ego isn't necessarily a bad thing in the sense that new age spiritualists push, but when cared for properly it can lead to transcendental growth.
>video seems sort of like Annihilation, reconstruction through destruction essentially.
Cosmogramma is what I'm aiming for -- kind of. I like the non-quantized jazzy feel with real drums and real instruments. Electronic elements for texture and nostalgia.
I also don't want to mess with chasing down different VSTs - I like how Reason has everything in the box.
Its pretty good. Not nearly as bad as Yea Forums is making it out to be. I like it way more than Youre Dead.
Imagine how good he'd be if he used FL Studio. It's too bad.
After the first 2/3 of the album or so i was honestly extremely bored.
It was hovering around a maybe 3/10. The last part salvaged it slightly, but it still feels completely subpar.
The mixing is extremely bland and not very appealing.
I'd much rather listen to any other FlyLo album.
There are very few new ideas and the rest is just old ideas executed slightly worse with a more "atmospheric" vibe. That arguably just makes it worse.
All in all, it just feels like filler, and leaves me wanting another, actually interesting album.
you're dead was better I think. Black Balloons Reprise is probably my favorite track from the album, the quasimoto sample is so good.
you standards really must be low
then again this place dickrode Igor like the next coming last week
See "Us," it's the tethered Bad
love how its all hooked up to a graphics card
Definitely shines truest with a good stereo. Some of these synths and stuff have really interest mixing and effects
