I always knew Tyler would come through and put out the album of the century

Sure is summer in here
it’s not bad but it’s not the GOAT people are memeing it to be either. it’s just generic

the night the album came out most people were calling it mediocre
looks like you're coping real hard champ.
>it’s just generic
lol wut
uhhhh nice revisionism but most people were calling it AOTY even then, only asshurt people were those who grew frustrated with the excitement and number of topics.
no, most people were talking about how disappointing it was and how it was mediocre
based and igorpilled
cringe
no
Nuh uh
nah not really
who? reddit?
It's a grower, you should give it another spin :)
yes
your personal opinion =/= what actually happened.
nice try, but further posts from you will be dismissed by myself and anyone else with a shred of intelligence.
literally take any good Neo-Soul artist like Frank Ocean or Anderson Paak and dumb down the lyrics by an order of magnitude and you have IGOR.
i was there and i saw the feedback so im not concerned with what you dismiss
I’m incredibly impressed by Tyler’s evolution as an artist, his production ability especially; however, I really don’t think this album is worth a 9. Tyler’s boyish Brockhampton-esque vocals on this album initially turned me off, but after a few listens, they grew on me, but they are still VERY jarring at times. Along with the jarring vocals, I can’t help but feel like the songwriting is incredibly lackluster here, repetitive (albeit catchy) one dimensional refrains are plentiful. It’s to the point where the subject matter is kind of redundant, but then against it is a love album. I would have preferred more in depth introspection regarding Igor’s feelings of love (plentiful on Flower Boy). Also considering Tyler has experience with creating these fictional narratives (Goblin, Bastard, and Wolf), I would have preferred more depth. I definitely do enjoy the album though, the production is a beautiful blend of Tyler’s typical quirky synths and soul. Songs like I Think and New Magic Wand have excellent progression and I really do agree with Anthony’s sentiment towards New Magic Wand having this sense of gorilla like insanity. But I can’t say this is one of the best breakup albums of the decade, that title goes to Blonde for me. In my honest opinion, Igor is a solid 10, a light 11 at best.
I just want Tyler to do an industrial hip hop album tbqhwyf
youtu.be
but the vocals are fine?
In that case I would like to listen it
wasnt this just a side project?
even if it was, what's your point?
He doesnt usually return to side projects.
Fantano literally gave it a 9, what is there to be mad about?
r/hiphopheads hate it
Check the "1 week later" thread
I'm good
I don't know what are you talking about, I do not visit that site
savage
I can't stop listening to Earfquake and also imagining how Bieber and Rihanna would have sung it. It's a perfect song.
>I haven't felt this connected to an album since mac miller's swimming man!
>literally only came out 9 months ago
this nig memeing or what
Listening to it free doesn't do it justice. I stopped after 5 mins. Some albums you just have to buy.
