"I'm an older metalhead and I've gotten more opinionated with time. I don't find myself a big fan of Donald Trump or care for the direction he's taking the country in. I should stress I still love America and have lived in Arizona for over 30 years, but under the Obama Administration, we saw immense strides made in human equality, a lot of which I now see being reversed by the current administration. You can't just give rights to some of the people and not others. You have to give equal rights to everyone. I will stress that Judas Priest is not a political band, and I also understand that the metal community has a lot of people who are supporters of Trump and Republicans and may not share my views. But that's alright, we don't bring it out on stage."

ok
He's right.
is that the cinema snob
>gay man doesn't like Republicans
wow stop the presses
trump is a retard but he’s already the best president we’ve had since jimmy carter based solely on the fact that he hasn’t invaded any countries. there’s no difference between obama and bush. anti war and anti imperialism is the best we can ask for in this great satan of a country.
>Obama administration
>Huge strides in equality
>When the whole fucking Trayvon martin/black lives matter/kill whitey era began
Yeah nah
>kill whitey era
What era is this you just made up?
This era.
if Iran and North Korea were no longer nuclear powers that would change very quickly
Point still stands. And the economy is doing great. Be honest, your life has not changed at all these past three years.
I'm going to take the educated guess that he was talking about Obergefell vs Hodges, which is worth essentially toilet paper anyway.
>implying rappers didn't write edgy lyrics before obama
>And the economy is doing great
we're living in a bubble that's ready to pop any second. not to mention this retarded tariff shit that's killing the industrial economy. there's a reason we ditched mercantilism 100s of years ago.
>your life has not changed at all these past three years.
so? I don't vote for stagnance
this has to be bait
I wish he'd quit trying to go around peddling a tribute act as Judas Priest when him and Ian Hill (who is useless anyway) are all that's left of the band. And maybe retire Painkiller from the setlist--it's tired and he can't sing it in the original key anymore.
>we're living in a bubble that's ready to pop any second
People have been saying this for two decades.
>so? I don't vote for stagnance
this has to be bait
Silly boy. Stagnancy is the best thing you can ask for from your government masters. I’m not even a Trump guy, you seem like you don’t like him and that’s understandable, he’s a brash, ignorant, loud mouthed, rich boi. But the fact that he’s kept us from invading some other desert country for geopolitical reasons automatically makes him better than Obama. I know this upsets you because Obama was le cool smiling black dude who played basketball and listened to Jay z, but it’s unchangeable fact.
Once on a Youtube comment section, someone said he saw Priest in Houston in 1977, during their first US tour and they played Call For The Priest, and Rob introduced the song by announcing "This next one's dedicated to Anita Bryant and all the other schmucks out there!"
>People have been saying this for two decades
that's because it literally happened twice in the past two decades. once in 2001 and 2008. are you smoking something?
they don't just pull it out of thin air. any time there is a yield curve inversion in an economy you can guarantee there will be a recession. look it up.
>you seem like you don’t like him and that’s understandable, he’s a brash, ignorant, loud mouthed, rich boi
this is not why I don't like him. I don't care if the president is a coke addicted serial child rapist as long as he can keep the economy going, Trump simply can't do that.
>But that's alright, we don't bring it out on stage.
I wish Eddie Vedder would learn this.
i see nothing wrong with this. man has an opinion but he keeps it out of the music.
wow, artists can have opinions without turning their music into political propaganda? aamazing
I know Don Henley said many of his fans are Republicans and he is not, but he doesn't bring politics into his shows.
Yeah really. Dude, I don't care that you're a fedora and you don't like Republicans. Just shut up and play.
Can we just kill each other already?
>that's because it literally happened twice in the past two decades. once in 2001 and 2008
And what happened then? America crumbled? Or did the government bail the crooks out and everything went back to normal?
>he can keep the economy going, Trump simply can't do that.
Neither could Obama according to you
it's too bad because back in the 90s they were fucking incredible live.
>And what happened then? America crumbled? Or did the government bail the crooks out and everything went back to normal?
people that were the age I am now back in 2008 were left virtually jobless, living in debt, and are for the most part still suffering from the problem to this day. and don't even go there with the "le liberal arts xd" because you know that isn't relevant, boomers had it way easier because back then the government understood how banking worked.
>Neither could Obama according to you
why do you think this is an argument? being better than Obama is not a feat.
>why do you think this is an argument? being better than Obama is not a feat.
I honestly don’t know why we’re still talking. This all started because of a hypothetical dig you posted. Have a good night chief.
>based solely on the fact that he hasn’t invaded any countries
oh but he will if Israel tells him to
he's already threatened Iran
>I wish Eddie Vedder would learn this.
Just another reason why Creed are better.
wtf i love metal now
GOD DAMN YOU CIPHER
That movie is a dated piece of shit now, but I laughed.
