What's your favorite dark-prog album?
What's your favorite dark-prog album?
Fine, I'll start.
The fact that Anthony Fantismo gave igor a 9 only shows that christgau was right about him. He’s just pandering to edgy ekids who mindlessly assimilate to shit tier safe pitchfork approved music
Christgau is right about Anthony,. but Christgau himself is a tastelet most of the time.
the fact that fantano pisses you all off daily and none of you can do anything about it makes me like him more
Progressive darkwave
Imagine booting this smug cuck in the face and then sodomizing him with a copy of ITCOTCK.
the only literal dark-prog album ITT
What makes something "dark prog"? Basically all I know is
>Swans
>Daughters
>Death Grips
Are definitely dark prog. I'm gonna say Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Xiu Xiu are also dark prog. Am I on the right track?
this better be some shitty b8 right here
Pawn Hearts or anything by Van Der Graaf/ Peter Hammill. Also PT/Steven Wilson deserves a mention. We Took The Wrong Steps Years Ago by Hawkwind is a good sad song as well.
Magma isn't prog
Am I crazy/retarded if i unironically think that dark-prog is actually a decent descriptor for certain types of music? Particularly, Swans' recent output seems like a good example of this. "Dark-prog" does more to describe their type of music than their usual descriptors of "post-rock" and "experimental rock".
ITCOCK
braaaaaap
We Took The Wrong Steps Years Ago by Hawkwind is a good sad song as well.
Glad you brought this up, I've kinda wondered about the lyrics,
the fuck
Honestly red
I'm shitting my fucking self as we speak
>Zehul
>not a subgenre that's closely tied to prog-rock more than anything else
it means you don’t know what prog is
Ding dong you're fucking wrong!
then continue shitting yourself
brp
Is this dark prog?
brap :)
