I am just very excited to be able to start listening to music this summer because I have had no time to listen because of school. I am extremely excited to listen to all of the albums that people recommend because with the little time I have had to listen to music people recommend, I have enjoyed most if not all of it. I am a newfag that started lurking December of last year and this is my first post. Please recommend music I should listen to over the summer. pic related is my favorite album I found here so far.

OP here! Thank you if you see this! The first track kind of threw me off but the rest is really good! I really like how on some of the songs use traditional world instruments like guitars and whatever Asian instrument is on Hip Hip Hooray and mixes them with electronic sounds. Again, thank you!

Check out this album if you like Daft Pink's Discovery. It's another great French house album for the summer. Lady, Music Takes You Back, and On Fire are my favorite tracks.
these are recs based specifically on Discovery (which is my favorite album). Justice and Sebastian are the most similar, tried to make the others pretty varied

Listened to this while playing some old Roblox RPG. I don't know what to think. It all sounds the same to me. It's pretty ambient but not bad ambient. There were definitely parts where I wanted it to really badly build up into some huge breakdown for some reason. It's not bad though.

Discovery was a pretty defining album for my youth, glad you're loving it.
I know you said you didn't necessarily want music with summer vibes, but it's a good time to listen to some all time great summer albums. Pic related is worth your time.
