I mean sure, but I've never heard of the word "cookout"

pretty sure it's on jpopsuki, I can upload to zippy in a bit if you aren't on there though

>jpopsuki
sorry, not on it. possibly should get an account there but haven't been so dedicated. Zippy would be great if you can thanks!

rad. downloading for tomorrow mornin, thank you

>thoughts on igor?
meh. i've never really cared for tyler anyway so my opinion is pretty worthless though igor hardly left an impression on me. few good tracks, decent production as usual but everyone seems to think it's the peak of everything ever. cant agree.

>thoughts on igor?
pretty good, production is by far the best aspect of the album, most verses are pretty forgettable except Carti on Earfquake and Tyler's first verse on What's Good. A Boy Is a Gun/I Think are also great but overall it's just an okay album, Tyler's vocals ruin most songs. Probably my 3rd favourite Tyler album behind Flower Boy and Wolf. 6.5/10

these recs are great thx user

Some interesting stuff this week.

Under a Stone With No Inscription was a really solid tech death album. I think the drumming could have been slightly improved upon, maybe with more frequent switch ups, but that's a pretty minor complaint in the grand scheme of things.
The new Nocturnus AD album impressed me a little on the first listen, but hasn't really done much for me beyond that. Some of the songwriting falls flat, and some songs are pretty forgettable to me. Solid 6/10.

Through the Ocean to the Stars was an ambient split by Elderwind/Lustre, with the Elderwind side being pretty solid, even if I'm not a fan of them typically. The Lustre side is shit, to no one's surprise.
The new Amon Amarth was a safe, polished, bland, and commercial melodic death metal album, exactly what everyone was expecting. Has two or three good songs, but the majority of the record is so painfully forgettable. Even then, it is competently played from front to back. Give it either a 5/10 or a 6/10.
Known about In the Aeroplane Over the Sea for as long as I can remember, but never did get around to it. It's a decent, 7/10 record, but nothing more. I appreciate the concepts more than the execution on some songs, like on Two Headed Boy. The vocals feel half baked in the worst way on those tracks.
Carly Rae Jepsen's new album was a light little romp. More consistently good than Emotion, but the highs were much more muted than on Emotion. Really I'd put them on equal footing.

I'd comment on the other ones, but I'd go far too into detail on them for a single post. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd like to hear them. Whenever I post in these kinds of threads they die so soon after. Off to bed myself.
