People posting about how much they like (c)rap

Where do you get those wacky memes?
google imags and mspainnt
google "rage faces" it's way before my time but back in the early days of the internet they used these faces instead of wojaks and pepes....it's weird
There can be peace between rageposters and frogposters
>We are not so different... you and I.

Masterfully crafted b8
>post ironic rage posters

downvoted. post-irony is epic
after all these years here, i still can’t tell if people genuinely don’t like rap. i just always assumed it was memes
do people actually not like rap? why? how? lyrically it’s objectively the best genre. i can understand not liking the culture behind it, but that’s about it
I love Hip Hop
if you prioritize the sonic elements of music over lyrics then it's not unusual for rap to be your least favorite genre. Musically, rap is very primitive. 90% of it is just one five second beat repeated ad nauseam with minimal change throughout a three minute song. It's not very engaging.
>90% of it is just one five second beat repeated ad nauseam with minimal change throughout a three minute song. It's not very engaging.
do you actually listen to rap music??
i dont get this argument because vocals are a sonic element. the voice is an instrument too
and yeah, there is some rap that falls under those parameters but that’s a pretty big generalization of the genre
this unironically thank you jamaicans and new yorkers
>do people actually not like rap?
Yes
>why?
It's musically inferior, and performance wise, very uninteresting and unintellectual
>lyrically it’s objectively the best genre
[citation needed]
the average 2019 redditor does not post ragefaces
>do you actually listen to rap music??
Yeah, I used to.
>i dont get this argument because vocals are a sonic element. the voice is an instrument too
I agree but one instrument being good is not enough to save the whole track from boring repetition. But without a doubt the lyrics and voice are the strongest elements of many rap songs. Lyrics are what is emphasized most though in rap culture and so often times a lot of other music elements get left behind, so for someone like me who cares about the sound of a song much more than its lyrics, it can be offputting.
>implying cuckjak posters are any different than reddit
>it’s musically inferior, and performance wise, very uninteresting and unintellectual
[citation needed]
also, having discussions about entire fucking genres being good or not will absolutely lead to extreme generalizations and biases, which seems very uninteresting and unintellectual to me
>[citation needed]
Well, show me some rap songs that have NO samples and have 14 chord changes.
I'll wait.
