Gabriel Scott
Jason Flores
Looks like it'll be the black tie white noise, al b sure era to me.
Jacob Taylor
maybe rebel rebel
Luis Sanchez
It's pretty rare that a child of a ultra-famous musician ends up making good music, which is strange given that musical ability is often inherited. Nature vs nurture I suppose. Norah Jones is the only one I can think of off the top of my head who made anything decent, and that was only after her mainstream success allowed her to take risk. I guess we'll see.
Colton Price
wow you know so little about music it's mindboggling
John Garcia
julian lennon is the best i can think of
and even he put the shittiest guitar solo of all time in one of his songs. solo stars at 2:40.

Sean made more interesting music, and it was still pretty bad.

Daniel Robinson
I'll admit I forgot about Buckley. Still stand by my overall point.
Ryan Anderson
Fair enough. But the problem might be that ultra-famous musicians are very rare. You're less likely to have talented kids among a smaller sample-size.
Jeremiah Ward
by her looks?? overproduced bedroom pop
basically yeah. i think a lot of children of such musicians sorta live in the shadow of their parent and put in too much effort to achieve fame instead of doing their own thing, so they just get steamrolled by the industry. like why do u think we never hear anything about what michael jackson's kids are doing lmao
Benjamin Long
Fair point. I was actually thinking of it more from an affluent standpoint. It makes me wonder if it's actually easier or harder to make good art when you want for nothing.
Luis Thomas
the first 3 seconds sound like good morning captain
John Turner
Neneh Cherry (Don Cherry's daughter)
Tyundei Braxton (Anthony Braxton's son)

Thomas Bell
i kinda agree. shes a fine singer but not really that special. she has released some music i really like tho (tho its not really her carrying the songs) her own songwriting and production isnt great but on her recent works shes worked with interesting producers (altho her vocals are not what carry the works)
Zachary Bell
Dude. She's gorgrous
Nathan Green
True, although that brings up the classic "Shakespeare's sister" question. One of the main advantages they had in having a famous parent at that time was being taught how to read. Today there's at least a myth that one can start from the bottom and make it to the top. Back then, it wouldn't even have been a consideration.
Obviously, that doesn't discount the quality of their music. Just something interesting to think about.
