A masterpiece from Big Tunes Billy and friends...

A masterpiece from Big Tunes Billy and friends. This album is way better than anything Kurt Cobitch ever recorded and should be remembered as the definitive 90s alt-rock album.

>dude string arrangements lmao

Based. (I like In Utero too though, sue me!)

So do I, but it's fun to talk shit about Nirvana even if I don't really mean it.

BASED!

Bloated ego project that could have been one of the greatest albums of all time if Billy could have cut it down to a single album. Sad, really.

One of the greatest rock albums. Too bad Billy fell off after (Adore and Machina are still good though.)

>Siamese Dream 7.5
>Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness 7.0

I fuck with him hardcore, but I can't agree with this rating.

Correct

>tfw have ltd edition vinyl

LMAO

Cringe

Siamese Dream should be an 8

Fact. He released a 5 album box set of other songs from the Mellon Collie recording session because nobody had the heart to tell him that every riff he thinks of isn't a song. While every great band needs a genius, they equally need someone strong enough to tell that genius, "no". Billy never had that. Or, even if he did, he never listened. Hence the second half of his career.

Siamese Dream > Gish > Mellon Collie and the Infinite Filler

All alt-rock released between 1995 and 1999 is butt rock trash

You heard it here, folks. According to this kid His Hero is Gone and Portraits of Past are "butt rock"

How come Billy's music is so good when he's so cringy and can't really sing?

True. As much as I like the Pumpkins, "The Aeroplane Flies High" was a chore to get through. And the five/six-disc reissues of the classic Pumpkins albums have a lot of dog tracks and shitty demos too. It's like "Hey Billy, you don't have to release EVERYthing."

>not Hootie & the Blowfish Cracked Rear View
fucking zoomer faggots

?

tonight tonight is a terrible song

No it's not.

This, but unironically.

what a terrible opinion

haha we have a popular opinion so we're right

which tracks would you take out?

Personally, I feel that even the "filler" tracks add to the atmosphere of the album. I would leave the album as is.

>haha I hate le popular song I am so smart and unique

>everyone who doesn't like a popular thing is wrong
>now let's listen to imagine dragons

>le thing is automatically le bad because it is le popular
>i was le born in le wrong generation

I agree with . One of the things I like about the album is the debate over whether it's bloated or not. I can list songs I don't like, but I just be doing that.

>thing is automatically off limits to criticism because it's popular
>i listen to good music from le epic 90s

What criticism? You just said it's a terrible song.
