This is the best post hardcore album ever
This is the best post hardcore album ever
being the best artist on the hot topic cd shelf isnt exactly an accomlishment
but you are wrong
also 13 Songs is only like the 3rd best Fugazi release
not even the best fugazi album what the fuck
bruh that aint even the best fugazi record
that's not red medicine
I’m a Red Medicine man myself.
Wrong kind of post-hardcore
its all the same kind. shtty edgy guitar music for hite males
Have you even listened to Fugazi or are you just posting for the fuck of it?
good one
just stop replying to him
I listened to Minor Threat like once
i have. its an edgy tough guy white fellow singing over hard rock. loser music for macho white males with toxic masculinity issues
>resumes listening to Igor
>listens to fugazi
>thinks he knows post harcore
wrong album m8
pre 2000’s p-hc has nothing to do with that store or crowd
go back to your clairo threads you faggot
>pre 2000’s p-hc has nothing to do with that store or crowd
not really its all a lineage of the same music. it casually morphed into one another. all the shitty white guy angst was there from the begining. they just stopped trying to hide the corporatism later on. but there a really clear lineage. theres not really one point where one thing is post hardcore then the next thing is just mall post hardcore. its a spectrum and all ties into one another
you are ignorant as fuck, mallcore is alternative rock, with “post-hardcore” aesthetic. nothing to do with bands like unwound, who blend hardcore and noise.
out of interest, since this seems like the thread to ask: would you consider The Sound of Animals Fighting post-hardcore? They definitely have post-hardcore punk influences imo, but also feature a lot of prog-rock and softer pieces.
Genuinely wondering.
Newfag to post-hardcore, I really like Defeater, Rites of Spring, Embrace, Jawbreaker and MewithoutYou.
Where do I go from here?
brand new
>OMG FUGAZI, UNWOUND, SLINT, THE LIST GOES ON...
Wrong
It's really fucking good however the lack of Guy on guitar is a shame. He even said in interviews at the time that it actually felt really bad to not be playing guitar in that band which is where Repeater came from thankfully. Even though Guy's performances on 13 Songs are some of his best and they still played songs off of it all the way till their last shows.
The way that Guy and Ian play together is what defines Fugazi for me, In On the Kill Taker wouldn't be the same album without Guy's great guitar playing. But yeah 13 Songs is a wild debut no doubt and it has some of my favorite Fugazi tracks on it.
Try with Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu and Cap'n Jazz
you're a fucking idiot if you don't respect Fugazi they're a great band and the fact that they're "entry level" proves that you dunce, you fool, you moron. Next you're gonna say that Shellac is lame or something.
What's your favorite post hardcore band? Something terrible and obscure I bet.
>t. hite male
>Hite
?
