Buy the vinyl and play it on an Hi-Fi system with big speakers and turn the volume way up. If you do that you can actually feel the vibrations like a live concert end enjoy it way more. This is their best recorded album but I agree with the fact that it can get boring if you just listen to it with headphones.

no memes, I actually think this is his best album so far and it's fucking fantastic. He's getting to lyrics that are his most personal, his production skills have really improved and I love that imperfect singing style he's got where it all feels like an off-kilter, off-beat soul album made by a loner. Plus his ban has been lifted in the UK so I hope he tours with it over here, would love to see him live sometime.

I hate RnB and trap, yet my favorite albums of the year have been RnB (or neo-soul I guess) and electronic trap. The absolute state of music rn.
Why has all indie pop/rock been boring this year, Weyes Blood/Vamp Weekend/Big Theif/The National have all made me want to sleep around the halfway mark. They're just so formulaic and samey. I cannot find distinguishing features between the albums, let alone the songs. Maybe I just haven't listened to them enough.
