A Yea Forumscore afterthought, but the sprawling, restless musical density is like no other pop album I've yet to hear. Never dwells on any one musical idea for too long, seamlessly blending psychedelic, humor, Americana grannyshit and classical orchestration, constantly shifting and modulating, never dumbing things down with needlessly mindless repetition (the hallmark of poorly/lazily composed pop music). VDP is the shit.
