yes

just like your mom lol

Nah, they had some talent, made a few good songs, but I can easily think of at least 200 better bands.

So they went from jangly Bob Dylan cover band to psych-lite rock folk pop posures to country bumpkin hipsters to insignificant jam band?

Have You Seen Her Face is good imo and Younger than Yesterday is enjoyable despite having its ups and downs.

Never really listened to their other albums in detail.

The Byrds are easily one of the most significant rock groups of the 1960s, and, for better or worse, probably of rock history. All the jangle pops band that hip teenagers listen to today rip them off or rip of others ripping off the Byrds.

Yes, they are. Prince counts, so does Robin Trower, so does Hendrix, so does Buddy Holly. To save time, I am not writing out the names of their supporting bands.. You don't know what you are talking about.

>fleetwood mac that low
Listen to thier earlier stuff m8

Bob Dylan doesn't count? Or George Thorogood? How high was the building from which you were dropped on your head?

they dont count faggot redo your list

They aren't in order, I'm just lisitng 200 random bands better than the Byrds. You are correct, in order of how great the bands are, Fleetwood Mac would be much higher.

Yes, they do, moron, everyone in the world EXCEPT you says that Dylan, Elvis, Prince, etc. don't count. Give it up already, you're making yourself look bad.

Wrong, moron, Dylan, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Nugent, and Rod Stewart do count. You sound like a very low IQ person to deny what EVERYONE else in the world accepts.

You're arguing with at least two posters user.
I don't even think The Byrds are that good, but seeing as I was the one asking the question, yes, you should only be posting bands, not solo artists. Hendrix only kinda counts because the bulk of his discography was with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, which, despite the title, was very much a band and not just a solo project.
The byrds are funny, they rarely even wrote their own material then the group was basically hijacked by gram parsons, yet they're still remembered and honored for some reason. I like younger than yesterday but the roots rock stuff was already happening yet they get all the credit.

wtf

>Together with Velvet Underground the best 60's American band
>Influenced every relevant country music artist from the 70's until today
>Influenced The Smiths, My Bloody Valentine, Big Star, Stone Roses and countless other artists from jangle rock and power pop to alternative rock
