The intro on the first song does drag on for a bit (or maybe it's just me, idk), but I like how the vocals are buried in the mix, gives it more character.
Personally, more synth-work would compliment this style more than just guitars, but that's just me.
Not really a fan of indie-rock, but this is solid, the way it's produced and all.
Jarring was okay, but Disengage connected more with me for some reason.

This is a song I'm working on from a concept album I'm making.
In this scene a boy has been given a potion or brew by his master- a rogue wizard of sorts looking to topple the monolithic evil power structure that's ruined the world
His plan is to access different planes of existence. To build life there or to work with existing life there. To harness good energy and bring it back into the totalitarian inhuman hell hole that humans lost control of. I'm still working out the story but I'm trying to capture the feeling of transcendence here. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!

1. To my surprise, I managed to finish a fourth song. It's the shortest and the calmest so far.
2. My first planned project has a name: Cardboard Girls. It includes all four previously released songs and whatever songs I finish next until I feel it's complete. No plans to upload to a more permanent platform until it's finished.
3. Changed current disposable host from Vocaroo to Instaudio as requested. Any feedback is still appreciated.

High energy. Kinda proggy experimental vibes
Is that accordion? This track goes everywhere. Also why that weird site?
Nice vocals. Guitar tone is supper comfy and satisfying. Nice layering. Kinda makes me think of offspring meets Ben Folds. Catchy tune.
Smooth, great synth sounds

It's a melodica synth.

I don't plan on posting to a more permanent, mainstream platform right now because all my songs are still technically demos. I plan on polishing them over time until they're in a more complete state for a proper album or EP release. I used to upload to Vocaroo, but someone pointed out that it heavily compresses audio (which I didn't notice that much at first since most of my music is already recorded in lofi) so I searched, found Instaudio and liked the look and features it had.
working on using nothing but old commodore 64 SAM and a limited amount of samples to make some techno/house stuff. here's something i just threw together that i liked and will elaborate on. everything is a commodore 64 text to speech generator except for the kick. really dig the second half of it, as far as the overall groove goes.
i really dig the ambient stuff going on in the background. i kind of expected more to come from the track, but the kick works as a lead instrument in this case i guess? neat track, makes me think of some intense disjointed running scene through a spookhouse or something
rex
very gentle. this reminds me of some of my first songs (on my first album a song called "just done thinking" specifically). i like the way it builds up little pieces that gradually change the melodic focus as they work together differently. about halfway through it starts to feel a little crowded, and i think some work on the EQ and panning could remedy that easily without having to drop any parts. it doesn't feel like much happened from the start to the end, but i think for a track like this that's kind of the appeal. nicely done.

this has an old school late 90s uk garage flavor.
i normally make music similar to this and me and a few mates are in the stages of putting together some classic garage tracks with this sort of aesthetic. i'm partial to the commodore 64 myself.

Nice tune man, listened to Cotton, your vocals fit the sound perfectly
I think your mix could benefit some low end to tie it more together. I like the tune at the basis, but I'm not a big fan of the synths

this song really hurt my ears, was it meant to do this?

Alright so I made this video 2 and a half years ago when all I cared about in life was my art and making this ball thing.
Since April of 2018 I literally have not made a new song, I have ZERO interest in anything other than getting a real career and getting a wife and having children. I feel bad because my video recently got put in Youtube Recommended and now people want me to upload again. wtf am I supposed to do bros
make art, hoes GTFO
Dude, I can't even be bothered now. I still have all the equipment but I'd rather just be a lazy POS and browse Yea Forums
imo the hardest part is always starting, but once i force myself to lay down a shitty chord progression or something i very quickly fall back into the zone
I've tried probably billions of times. The love just isn't there anymore
It's ok though I'm mostly over it. Painful last two years though
There's a song I did called in the hole too long that perfectly summed up my frustration. On the channel

ive been trying to make my music better bros leave comments and tell me how i can get better
