No, it's still the most important metal album of the last decade.
the retard store called nigga
they said ur a big dumb retard
essential Yea Forumscore
which just further proves its shit my lad
Hell no. The album is great and it is THE BEST entry point to extreme metal for beginners.
It hasn't really had an effect on the metal landscape yet. Have there been any bands inspired by it? I'd consider it one of the must listen metal albums of the decade but it's not influential in any way.
Hell Meshuggah is probably the most important metal band considering they spawned the entire shitty djent genre.
this album is the best entry point for the male anus you fuckin faggot
Never quite saw the appeal in the first place. It always had this 'it's been done before, and way better' feel to it for me.
Name a better entry point metal album with screamed vocals.
how about shoving an entire wood screw down ur urethra
You're a very constructive poster who wants to discuss music.
plz give examples of where it's been done before i need to expand my playlist
thank u for coming to my thread
I dropped this album after seeing their live performance. I can't handle s o y b o y s
almost any other atmo-black album
Like???
inb4 that boring Sunn(((O))) shit.
indeed
along with these
> Illinois
my feelings are hurt
>numale gay music
top kek
but Wildflower doesn't deserve to be on there. Nobody should ever listen to that piece of shit no matter what their beliefs or orientation are. It's insulting that that album even exists.
This is one of the few metal albums I listen to regularly, and I'm not a metal fan at all, so no.
This is definitely a good album
>Demon Days
fuck off
kys
yeah it's like if alcest decided they were a screamo band
still a really good album
>Illinois
>Lonerism
>Sumbather
no
shut the fuck up retard wildflower is the best album on that chart
>I'm dying
>is it blissful?
>it's like a dream
>I want to dream
reminder
>Yea Forumscore bad
>popular bad
>acclaimed bad
who are you quoting
I really do not understand this.
1st - if anything Roads to Judah is more innovative
2nd - Listen to more screamo, it has a lot in common with La Quiete
3rd - Alcests debut album is the dawn of any crossover between black metal and shoegaze
who are you quoting
This
They were one of the most ambitious metal bands of the last decade despite the autism. It doesn't always work (like a lot of popular music that trys to be avant-garde) but god I will defend them till I die.
he isn't wrong.
Alcest cover band
>likes deafheaven
>hates on sunn o)))
you fuckin tourist scum
>who are you quoting
It's literally just pleasant noise
How can you turn this album into an image thing?
Still great to listen to
dream house still kicks ass honestly
the rest of the album doesnt match it though desu
so you're saying that your crush in highschool got fucked by a guy who wears a sunbather shirt
but user, sunbather and pecan tree are both better
Are you fucking kidding
Pretty much any blackgaze post-sunbather has been inspired by it
Vaura, Autumn for Crippled Children, Harakiri for the Sky, Trna, Ghost Bath, Respire, Oathbreaker,...
>Autumn for Crippled Children
They were at this shit long before Deafheaven were even a thing. Sunbather was the album that made coffee shop black metal popular with casuals but it was far from the first or best example of the genre.
Idgaf if normies, s o i boys, and non metal listeners like this, I love this album for what it is, i just wish more black gaze albums could be as a good as this, the majority of them suck ass
