If you like trash boomer nostalgia and think reddit is highbrow, then yeah.

helped me out theory wise for my A-Levels
His videos are good aswell
But Reddit is highbrow.
>search for which bands he worked with
>literal who bands with below mediocre songs
The only ones of these youtube guys that are actually successful in the music world are Samuel Andreyev and David Bruce.
His videos are good stuff if your willing to get in the weeds of music theory and analysis. Some decent audio production stuff too. You definitely want to watch to learn not to be entertained.
Not even close. He frequently talks out of his ass about things he has no knowledge about, and mixes his own opinion into videos while passing the whole matter off as fact.
Not to mention he is patently uncreative and taking any of his shit seriously is going to result in some god awful, train wreck music. One of those guys that misses the forest for the trees - can't see that the point of writing music is to be creative, rather than just jerking off.
That’s a negative
Why isn't he wearing blackface?
based
Warren Huart is way better
>KILLRR TOAN
He’s the best non musician on YouTube IMO
>Some decent audio production stuff too.
You mean the videos where he critiques mixes by playing them in the room through his shitty speakers being recorded by his shitty camera microphone?
No.
>A one, a twoo, a three-eee
i like the guy. he's very genuine and enthusiastic about music. he's nice and his videos are entertaining and educational. i take everything he says with a grain of salt tho.
Alan Belkin, dude.
Why don't you guys like Rick's approach to music theory?
