Never heard of them.
alright, just tell me what you listen to then
Reposting this from other thread. I'm gonna be in NYC visiting a friend for a few days near the start of June and want to visit a jazz club one of the nights I'm there. My choices are Renee Rosnes Quartet at the Village Vanguard, Ravi Coltrane at Birdland, or Krantz, Carlock, Lefebvre at Iridium. I really want to experience the Vanguard, but I kinda want to go to the Iridium just because Keith Carlock is such a ridiculously good drummer, even though I don't really care too much for the music they play as a trio. Birdland would be cool to go to as well, and I know Ravi isn't his dad but is he really worth seeing? The Blue Note also has some pianist kid prodigy from Bali, Joey Alexander, playing but I don't know about that.
joey alexander's giant steps is pretty great
but you sound like you want to go to the iridium to me
jus do that
I just had no idea who he was until I was looking up the acts that were playing. If he's on the rise as a pianist then I might check him out. I lean more towards piano focused jazz anyways.

The shitposting tripfag only comes out when someone attempts serious discussion. He thrives when he sees an opportunity to thwart meaningful content in favor of rampant shitposting which brings nothing.
will chekc it out, thanks
I think it’s been over a month since I’ve even seen someone attempt something like serious discussion on Yea Forums
