You poor fucking zoomers...that’s some vile brainwashed degenerate propaganda

My parents listened to Eminem

Nothing was ever forced on me. Before I bought CDs, I recorded music from video games on tapes and listened to whatever tapes we owned. One I particularly remember was called something like "synthesizer classics" and it had stuff like Kraftwerk and some movie tracks.

I got curious and decided to look up those tapes, and found them

They were cover versions, not the original tracks, and they're on youtube too.

Yeah, so that's what I listened to as a child.

This. I go back and listen to them on youtube and cannot believe I put my parents through that. I wish they had gotten me real music.

On the other hand, it introduced me to some songs that are still staples for me that I otherwise may have complete missed (Steal My Sunshine, Summer Girls) and gave me a thick slice of late 90s/early 00s hits.

I don't know any of that. I guess I'm a boomer.
I listened to The Simpsons Sing the Blues album when I was a toddler.

Calling Raffi contrarian is contrarian

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS IS THE ONLY THING MY CHILDREN WILL BE LISTENING TO
