what song are u learning imo immortal rites is very doable

try downloading some older version of guitar pro and get some guitar pro tabs, that'll give you some possibilities in terms of muting tracks, slowing shit down etc

Honestly, I'd recommend just checking out some of the more experimental stuff. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Thy Catafalque, Dodheimsgarde, Unexpect, Diabolical Masquerade, Terra Tenebrosa and Sigh are all interesting and unique sounding at the very least
