Why are all of you fags so assblasted by him wanting his album to be actually listened? He's not asking anyone to turn off their brains, but I can see his point. Hell, I went into it expecting more and better rapping and at least a couple aggressive tracks and I didn't enjoy it as much as the second listen when I embraced the fact he's going for something different.
Granted it has his signature all over it and you can still tell it was made by him, but he's not delivering the next cherry bomb or the next flower boy, which is what I saw plenty of you fags wanting before it was released.
Going into it expecting any of his previous works is just doing yourself a disservice. Just actually listen to the thing expecting music and if you want to shit on it afterwards then shitpost away but not because it didn't have MUH FIRE BARS FROM PAST ALBUMS or whatever.

The part about no distractions was probably aimed at zoomers who literally can't focus on ONE single thing for longer than 3 minutes. It may seem like too much to put a message out there explicitely requesting so, but that just talks about how terrible things are and how retarded the newer generations are getting.

I can't even finish it. I keep trying to find what everyone is jazzed about and there's just nothing there. I feel like if anyone but Tyler made this album and published as is it would be left with a lukewarm reception. He sounded so much more professional on Flower Boy then he decides to scrap everything he learned from something that sounds like a debut from an upcoming artist but without any of the charm of a debut because that implies Tyler is young and an amateur, which he is neither.
