My band's ep that wrote/recorded/mixed/played most of the instruments for
>emo/indie/noise punk/pop punk
I like the tone of this a lot, pretty nice production, just two problems right off the bat: one, there's a lot of timing mismatch which is masked by all the effects but still comes through pretty noticeably, and two the bass is in key but provides almost no progression to the songs and barely coheres rhythmically
Listening to your bandcamp: - everything sounds like it has a similar amount of reverb/delay. I would vary dry/wet and time values more, also the percussion sounds particularly distant which I don't like personally - Within any individual song, vocally, every line seems to have the same tonal inflection, starts on the same beat, ends on the same beat, etc. try to vary this up more - I do like the track-by-track variation on this thing quite a bit - please buy a better microphone
First track: Feels too empty and also too dynamic. If only one instrument is doing the lifting on an ambient track try to really focus on making that instrument sound very rich Second track: More robust than the first track and in general I like this a lot more. Still very generic for an ambient piece. You seem to fall into a pattern of having one instrument occupy the low-mid frequencies with fairly uninteresting noise (vinyl clicks, white noise) occupying the higher frequencies. Try to mix this up a bit

i've been wanting to make music like this for years without the help of a drum sequencer or samples
If you're going to ignore everyone before you in this thread, and post you buzzy, out of tune garbage with bad singing, boring progression, and shit lyrics, the least you could do is not have the weakest chin known to man.
Luis Turner
You should colab with and do an album called "music to get aids to."
Thanks man I’m and I gotta say, liking your sound. Real classic 70’s feel like Zep which I’m sure you’ve heard and the never ending story visuals are fab
O//X//Y//G//E//N >punk >grunge >unintentionally 4 minutes and 20 seconds >music that sad kids should smoke weed to
3:09 AM >??? >unintentionally 3 minutes and 9 seconds
No Fear >unresolving >dissonant >classical inspired
listened to a couple tracks and at first really didn't see the pop in the psychedelic pop that you mentioned, but as I listened I definitely heard it. I don't know if I can criticize much, but just seems a bit all over the place switching genres. I feel like better transitions between tracks could really help you out.
very good, very wall of sound. something definitely sounded off with the drums though. definitely fix the drums. great wall of sound, but vocals are low in the mix which it's like I get it it's dream pop/shoegaze, but I really like the vocals and really want to hear them more. very very good wall of sound though. very good tracks.
I like the really glistening instrumentation and the vibrant and lush atmosphere a lot of your stuff has. It's like I'm tripping and strolling casually inside a crystalline palace or something.
Really bleak and sombre. Reminds me a lot of ruminating. I really like the distant pianos and the overall soundscape on Disintegration IV.
Super slick production and grooves. Very professional sounding.
Amazing production on this. I like the dreamy composition aswell. In essence it sounds like the two same chords repeated throughout the whole track (Mar de Sueños), it works good in a "trancey" way but personally I would've added a bridge or something. Anyways, liked it alot!
Very driving energy! The kick sounds so pleasant, kind of hollow in a good way
thx for the advice bro, yeah I kinda figured it out since. hope my next record will sound 100x better. listened to your stuff as promised! great production and sound, loved your voice as well. the kind of stuff to get pussy to
