Honestly, I think it's the worst of the post-revival albums. It does have the catchiest songs of this period such as A Little God In My Hands and Oxygen.

The Seer and Soundtracks are better.

They're all 10s though.

>your name is fuck

Swans are Dead has better versions of a lot of SFTB tracks. Swans are Dead's version of Blood Promise is their best song.

>has better versions of SFTB tracks
>mentions a Great Annihilator song
pic related

is right btw

Seer and B2b are their best, followed shortly by Swans are Dead, Soundtracks, Annihilator, and Public Castration.

Those aren’t contrary statements
>Swans are Dead has better versions of a lot of SFTB tracks.
>Swans are Dead's version of Blood Promise is their best song.
Both can be true

yeah no shit? the sound and helpless child are better on Swans are Dead too.

Their best song is actually either Volcano or Yum-Yab

actually I changed my mind its Our Love Lies, specifically the one from that bochum bootleg.

Volcano is so transcendental

i was just joshing fellas, didn't mean anything by it lol

Sound is better on SaD tho i agree

Boys, it's obviously I See Them All Lined Up off Swans Are Dead.

Every track on this album feels unique and does something different, might be their least consistent album but it just has so many great tracks that you can kind of forgive it.
Title track is very underrated on this album
>there are millions and millions of STAAAARS

based song and based album.

Why can no other music compare to The Swans
It doesn't make sense

>title track is underrated

Agreed. Kirsten Supine is too.

>Sound is better on SaD
This opinion is wrong. You can't top the studio version.

>Listening to The Sound Live
>"MOTHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

sneed

>the swans

>not listening to Michael Gira and the Swans

This could be the worst album of the year! the first disc of the album is a compilation of atrocious and generic pop songs that have absolutely no redeeming factors what so ever, with Gira doing the worst Michael Jackson impersonation ever and the melody and rhythms are so clique and outdated, they aren't even memorable; this isn't to say that the skits are the most annoying thing about this record. Not to mention "Screen Shot" with Thor Harris is unbearable to listen to. Disc 2 has Gira doing these unbearable trashy rock songs, "Oxygen" with phil Puleo opens this part with horrendous vocals, atrocious lyrics and terrible melodies; "She Loves Us" is a unlistenable demo-quality jazz like track, Gira's vocals managed to ruin the song along with the guitar riffs and melody.

I played this song to understand what you were talking about and I almost jumped off my chair when it happened, what the fuck.

Even a broken cock is right twice a day

Told you it was good

>broken cock
What did he mean by this?

I think this album is weak compared to all the ones around it, but god damn She Loves Us is one of the best tracks Gira has ever put out.

Gira is a lunatic. I wouldn't be surprised if he has like 12 skeletons buried under his porch.

soundtracks are 9, the seer and to be kind ~8

Songs are too long. I can't think of a double album that actually warrants its length, this is no exception.

Oxygen is great though.
