I decided to make a top 100 consisting of my top 10 from the following categories: overall, traditional, european classical, jazz, rhythm & blues, rock, hip hop, electronic dance, experimental, and other.
Pretty happy with the results so far, but I need to update my ratings to get a more accurate chart.
What do you guys think?

You have mediocre taste in jazz, but I really like the experimental section, nice chart overall :-)

>You have mediocre taste in jazz
Aww, how come? :c

I mean, those A.D.D Trio, Braxton and Ellington albums are really fucking good, but I miss some post-bop like Sam Rivers, Andrew Hill, Eric Dolphy, McLean, etc, but whatever, I was exaggerating when I used "mediocre" ;)

You ever find anything similar or have recs to things like Machida, Richard Woodson's Ellipsis, or Paavo?

I'm sad and tasteless

I guess, I still have a lot to listen to, but I want to focus on either older or newer stuff when it comes to jazz now.

>Machida
idk, Songs About My Cats by Venetian Snares has a few tracks with a similar feel. I know there is something else similar, but I can't recall anythng. Oh, parts from Michel Waisvisz's Crackle. I think Kou samples one of his songs even.

I have his X album. Don't remember much about it other than the cool album art.

Anything you would recommend from the second link?

Why would I listen to someone whose taste is almost exclusively entry-level shit?

I recommend you to get a more developed taste before asking for recommendations.

It's fun. I just love it, it has a lot of pretty catchy bits.
